Packers’ Aaron Rodgers Looks Good To Play Sunday

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers looks good to play on Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
There have been nervous Green Bay Packers fans all week long with Aaron Rodgers’ status following an injured calf last Sunday, but those fans can rest easy. Mike McCarthy reportedly doesn’t have any concerns about Rodgers’ status this week after seeing him practice and the conversation that he had with his star quarterback.

Detroit is coming in this week looking to steal away the NFC North division, and the second seed in the playoffs is up for grabs as well. Green Bay knows that they need the homefield advantage with the way that they have played on the road this season, and that makes this game an even more serious outing for them.
Having Rodgers on the field definitely gives the Packers an advantage, but the Lions have the exact type of athletic and quick defense that has given him issue this year. Just a couple weeks ago against the Buffalo Bills, fans saw just how human Rodgers really is. That being said, his health is the biggest concern and McCarthy talked about his status.
"“I don’t have any concerns, just based off of the conversation with Aaron and how he’s feeling. You get out there … really (Saturday) will be a big indicator, just to watch him move around and do the different things. And then we’ll communicate during the game. But I don’t have a very high concern right now.”"
Week 17 is going to be a bloodbath between the Packers and Lions, and the rivalry has even more on the line. Green Bay is looking to get revenge for their 19-7 loss in Detroit against the Lions, and Detroit is looking to prove that they are the better team.
Expect to see a very hard-fought and close football game on Sunday, and the Packers need a big game from Rodgers to come out on top with the division title.
