Andrew Luck broke Peyton Manning’s record for single-season passing yards in Indianapolis Colts history.
The Indianapolis Colts were fortunate enough to move on from Peyton Manning immediately to Andrew Luck, and they haven’t looked back since. Luck has been a budding star and has improved immensely in each of his three NFL season.

Luck has come through with a monster 2014 season, and has already broken a team record of Manning’s.
Indianapolis saw Luck break Manning’s single-season passing yard record this afternoon against the Tennessee Titans. He is just 25 years of age, and he is already putting up bigger numbers in his first few seasons than Manning did. That isn’t saying that he is just as good, but it is certainly something to keep an eye on moving forward.
So far this season, the Colts look like one of the teams that could compete with teams like the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots in the AFC playoffs. They have a lot of work to do still, as could be seen by their 42-7 blowout loss in Dallas, but they have the talent to make something happen in the playoffs.

Obviously this is a huge step in Luck’s career, and it is a major record for the Colts’ franchise as well. Luck breaking this record is exciting for the fans and organization, and they have an extremely bright future with him leading the way.
