We all have a friend who has allegedly bowled a perfect game, but of course nobody was ever around to witness such.
The same can’t be said for professional bowler Ronnie Russell, who after hitting 12 consecutive strikes, became the 24th person to bowl a perfect game during a nationally televised appearance.
Of course, it’s not exactly uncommon for a professional bowler to have such a game as many have likely had such during their career. Doing it while the cameras are rolling however is a different thing considering not even 25 people have ever been able to accomplish such.
A perfect 300! Ronnie Russell becomes the 24th to bowl a nationally-televised perfect game in PBA history.

Anybody who has ever watched professional bowling on ESPN knows half the fun is watching the players perform so well yet routinely end up missing a pin here or there and unleashing a massive vent of frustration.
But Ronnie Russell didn’t have such an experience as he perfected the art of bowling, rolling what is essentially baseball’s version of the perfect game. They’re not completely unheard of, but they’re damn pretty when they take place.
