Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry apparently took the title of being labeled one of the ‘Splash Brothers’ literally as he poured a cup of water atop the head of Klay Thompson during an interview Saturday night.
After yet another victory, Thompson was being interviewed after the game and that’s when Chef Curry struck.
Noticing his friend and fellow ‘Splash Brother’ as he was preparing to walk off the court, Stephen Curry made his way back to the bench where he grabbed a Gatorade cup and poured it over the top of his Warriors teammate.
Clearly, Klay Thompson wasn’t expecting such though didn’t seem to mind the water as it cooled him off after a hard fought win.
Of course, funny as that moment may have been, it might have been Thompson who got the last laugh as Curry, attempting to scurry off the court ended up slipping on his way into the Golden State Warriors’ locker room.
Thankfully he wasn’t hurt in the process and everybody could have a good laugh about it.
Well, maybe not the Warriors’ front office who probably had heart palpitations once they heard their star and NBA MVP candidate took a nasty fall on the concrete.
I’m guessing Steph Curry may get a quick warning by Golden State’s management to avoid slippery jokes as the last thing anybody wants is Steph going down with a busted wrist in his effort to escape.
