Ndamukong Suh Wins Suspension Appeal, Will Play In NFC Wild Card Game
By Josh Hill
The NFL has overturned the suspension of Ndamukong Suh, meaning he can now play in the Detroit Lions NFC Wild Card game against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday.
When Ndamukong Suh stepped on the injured calf of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, it drew the ire of more than just fans that already hate Suh. In fact, it drew the fiercest ire from the fans who hate Suh the most — those in the NFL league offices. Such was suspended for one game following ‘The Stomp Part II’ — which is something we need to resurrect Ol’ Dirty Bastard to explain in a proper fashion.

But no one was getting coy with Suh after the stomp and his suspension was something that could have been a breaking point for the Detroit Lions as losing him for the most important game of the season would have been inexcusable. That’s not a bridge anyone is going to have cross at this point in time though, as Suh’s suspension was officially overturned on Tuesday by Ted Cottrell and reduced to just a hefty fine.
Suh has won over absolutely no friends int he NFL league offices, as made evident by the quick suspension for stepping on Aaron Rodgers. HE has had numerous run ins with less than admirable behavior on the gridiron, as he’s taken a violent game and made it into something even more gruesome by stomping on players, taking out their knees and being a brute force of nasty.
He won his appeal this time around, and it’s something that he should take into account in a serious manner, as his antics nearly cost his team a chance to keep this dream season alive. Maybe that will finally get it through to Suh that his antics have limits and he cannot cross that fine line between being a harsh player and a dirty one.
