The Mississippi State Bulldogs will don commemorative jerseys in celebration of the 100th year of the school’s football program.

This 100th year of NCAA football at Mississippi State University has proven to be perhaps the best one anyone can remember. The team achieved a 10-2 regular season record, along with a No. 7 ranking in the latest edition of the college football playoff ranking, and a birth in the Capital One Orange Bowl against Georgia Tech. On Twitter, the team’s uniforms for the upcoming game were posted in a photo. They feature the “100th year” theme that has been present throughout this season for MSU.

The jerseys will be nearly all white, with the school’s primary color (maroon) featured in as well; this time in a secondary role, like one would find in a road uniform. Below is a photo taken from the team’s locker room in Sun Life Stadium, courtesy of Hail State Equipment.

The school’s official equipment page also made it a point to post an up close photo of the jerseys as well, which can be seen just below.

MSU comes into this game dropping two of its final three games, with both losses on the road at Alabama, and Ole Miss. Prior to their road game against the former, the school had been ranked No. 1 in the country for the first time in the program’s history. The Bulldogs will look to end their storybook season on a high note tonight at 8:00 PM EST.
