We have hit New Year’s Day, which means that it’s time to get into the heart of the college football bowl game lineup. First up on Thursday will be the Outback Bowl, pitting the Auburn Tigers against the Wisconsin Badgers.
Auburn comes into this one after another successful year, however not quite as successful as the one they enjoyed in 2013 when they won the SEC and made it to the BCS national championship game. Defense was a clear issue for the Tigers this season, although they may have rectified that with the hiring of Will Muschamp.
Wisconsin is coming into this one looking for some confidence after they were blasted, 59-0, in the Big Ten Championship Game against Ohio State. With the departure of Gary Andersen, the team will be coached in this one by athletic director Barry Alvarez.
Here is how you can watch the Outback Bowl live on Thursday.
