It took a little longer than expected, but Florida State was finally able to get a touchdown, thanks to running back Karlos Williams.

The first half of the Rose Bowl and the first ever College Football Playoff game is now in the books, with the Oregon Ducks leading the Florida State Seminoles 18-13. However, it was almost much worse for Florida State, had it not been for a late score from running back Karlos Williams.
Florida State struggled in the first half on offense, particularly in the red zone. Time and time again, they just were not able to put the ball across the goal line. However, with time running out in the first half, Williams was able to break that trend by taking this one in from 10 yards out to get the Seminoles on the board.
That was a much needed score for the Seminoles, who will be getting the ball in the second half now with some momentum on their side.
