Thursday was a monumental day in college football, as we were treated to the first ever College Football Playoff. With the Rose and Sugar Bowls being played out, we would find out which two teams will play for the national championship next Monday night in Dallas.
Well after all of the action, and to the surprise of a lot of people, the two teams playing for the big prize will be the Oregon Ducks and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Oregon got the day started off with their complete dismantling of Florida State in the Rose Bowl, ending the winning streak of the defending champs. Now Marcus Mariota and his team will have a chance to get the trophy that has eluded them the past few years.
But, the big surprise of the day came in the Sugar Bowl where the Buckeyes just outplayed the Alabama Crimson Tide, putting them in the title game opposite Oregon. There were quite a few people that believed the Buckeyes didn’t even belong in this spot, but they proved everyone wrong. With Cardale Jones leading the way, Urban Meyer will have a chance at another national title.
With all of that being said, here is a look at the updated College Football Playoff bracket.

So, what are your predictions for the title game? Let us know in the comments below.
