Lionel Messi shows unworldly talent on Japanese TV show (Video)

Lionel Messi appeared on a Japanese TV show to showcase his amazing first-touch skills.

Lionel Messi continues to prove that he is not of this earth.

The Argentinian phenom recently was a guest on a Japanese TV show to showcase his incredible ball skills. He didn’t disappoint, as he left everyone watching with their jaws on the floor.

The skill he was asked to display was that of his first-touch ability. That means his ability to control the ball into his possession on his first touch of the ball. On the show, they had two trucks lift up a huge metal fence, 18 meters in the air. The challenge to Messi was to strike the ball over the elevated fence, and when the ball comes down on the other side he must control it on his first touch.

Just so everyone that is reading this understands how high this fence is, 18 meters is approximately 59 feet. So, Leo Messi was challenged to kick a soccer ball over basically a six-story building, and then proceed to just bring the ball down into his possession on the other side.

That is absolutely insane and nearly impossible. Well, nearly is the key word for Messi.

You have got to be kidding me. That is absolutely unreal.

One of the absolute most hilarious parts of this is the Japanese people freaking out in the small window in the top right of the screen after he completes the challenge. Don’t feel bad guys, we are just as amazed as you are.

To imagine that this is what most players in La Liga have to play against every week is scary. You can see why he puts up the goals and assists that he does. Most players don’t have that kind of control when the ball is coming down from 10 feet, let alone 60. It shows the unworldly skill that Lionel Messi possesses and what a rare talent he actually is.

Lionel Messi is a freak of nature, and somewhere in Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo is not impressed.
