Today’s USMNT news includes Juventus naming their price for Weston McKennie. Malik Tillman will not be joining Rangers and Timothy Weah has been linked with Atletico Madrid.

USMNT news: Juventus name price for Weston McKennie

Weston McKennie is expected to leave Juventus this summer. However, it remains to be seen who is willing to take the chance on the player who had an unsuccessful loan spell at Leeds United last season.

According to Max Statman “Juventus are seeking €30m for midfielder Weston McKennie this summer, sources have confirmed. The Italian giants are said to be willing to sell the American international but have yet to receive a serious offer for the player.

“While Turkish club Galatasaray have reportedly shown interest in McKennie, they are unlikely to meet Juventus’ asking price. This could open the door for Premier League clubs to make a move for the 24-year-old.”

The player did not make the best impression whilst at Leeds but he did join a team that was already struggling. His form for the Elland Road side might have put off teams from England’s top flight from signing him.

A move to Galatasaray who are the champions of Turkey would be a good move if they can afford him. Although, McKennie would prefer to stay in one of Europe’s top five leagues. The USMNT midfielder’s future is uncertain and the former Schalke 04 player’s stock has dropped in recent years.

USMNT news: Malik Tillman update

Malik Tillman spent last season on loan at Rangers from Bayern Munich and he was expected to make this move permanent. However, Sky Sports has reported that “Rangers will not sign Malik Tillman on a permanent deal this summer after his parent club Bayern Munich cancelled the option-to-buy clause.

“The Ibrox club will instead receive a £1m cancellation fee and are entitled to 10 per cent of any fee Bayern Munich receive for selling the 21-year-old.”

It remains to be seen where Tillman will go but he has been linked with Brighton and Brentford. If Tillman can get a move to a Premier League club then it would have been a blessing in disguise that Bayern have prevented his move back to Scotland.

USMNT news: Timothy Weah to Atletico Madrid

Timothy Weah has recently been linked with a move to Juventus but the Lille player is now attracting interest from Spain also. He showed his versatility in Ligue 1 last season where he operated as a full-back and as a forward and this has caught the eye of some of Europe’s top clubs.

The Spanish website AS has revealed that Atletico Madrid is considering making a move for Weah. Atletico can offer Champions League soccer which Juventus and Lille cannot, so a move to the La Liga side would be a good option for the American.
