Ohio State linebacker Darron Lee had a message for the SEC apologists following the Sugar Bowl win for the Buckeyes.

Given the fact that he was named the Defensive MVP, few players on Thursday had a better night in the Sugar Bowl than Ohio State linebacker Darron Lee. He continually terrorized the Alabama Crimson Tide as the Buckeyes rolled to their shocking 42-35 win to advance to the national championship game.

Yes, even on Friday, there are a lot of people stunned at what Lee and the Buckeyes were able to do to Alabama on Thursday night in New Orleans, and given the events of the past few days, there are many that believe Ohio State put the nail in the coffin for all the SEC love.

Apparently, Lee tends to agree, as he sent out this simple message following the Ohio State win.

That was indeed a simple message, but it got the point across and echoes the sentiments of a lot of people across the country.

Not only did Ohio State’s win ensure that the SEC will not be playing for the national championship, but it put an end to two very gruesome days for the SEC, in particular, the SEC West. Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Auburn were all teams that suffered defeats in some big bowl games, leaving people feeling that the days of SEC dominance are now at an end.

Whether or not that was the case after one bad season remains to be seen. However, for now, Lee and a lot of other people seem to think so.
