Weird things always seem to happen in the GoDaddy Bowl, and this time it was Allen Covington bringing the awesomeness with a touchdown for himself.

We’re not quite done with bowl season just yet. Sunday night, after all the NFL action was put to bed, the GoDaddy Bowl took center stage on ESPN with a match up featuring Toledo and Arkansas State. This stage was definitely not too big for Toledo defensive end Allen Covington, that’s for sure.
Right before the half was about to come to a close, Arkansas State was looking to cut into the 28-17 lead that Toledo was holding a little bit. Well those plans went awry when quarterback Fredi Knighten was hit after dropping back.
Well, what do you know, the ball just happened to land in the arms of Allen Covington, who rumbled that big body of his the other way down the field to get the touchdown and the 35-17 lead.
Yes, the next college football game that we see will be for all the marbles with Oregon and Ohio State, but come on, these are the moments from bowl season that we all love the most, be honest.
