The LSU Tigers may have found themselves a quick fix at the quarterback position in the form of Ohio State’s Braxton Miller.

The LSU Tigers obviously have a desperate need at the quarterback position, and they may have found their man in Ohio State’s Braxton Miller. According to a report from WAFB in Baton Rouge, Miller could very well be headed to play for Les Miles next season.
Miller has missed the entirety of 2014 with a shoulder injury that he suffered in camp before the season got started, and since then, both of his backups have led the team to an appearance in next Monday’s national championship game against Oregon. With that, it’s been widely assumed that he has lost his starting job, especially with the way J.T. Barrett played all season.
Having received his undergraduate degree from Ohio State in December, Miller would be eligible to take the field immediately for the Tigers in 2015.
As far as a fit, there might not be a better place for Miller to end up. It was clearly evident this past season that LSU once again has a talented roster, except at the most important position. Their inability to pass the ball may have been the one thing keeping them out of contention for the SEC title. Given the way that Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris played this past season, it’s pretty fair to assume that Miller would be the starter immediately upon arrival.
Aside from LSU, Miller has also been linked to transfer possibilities at Florida State and Duke. However, LSU might be the best fit overall in the end.
