New Jersey governor Chris Christie has been making plenty of enemies throughout the years, and now his NFL allegience is another reason for his constituents to be unhappy.

On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Detroit Lions in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs. During the game, the New Jersey governor could be seen in the team owner box with none other than Mr. Jerry Jones himself.

In the grand scheme of things, Christie’s fanhood of the Cowboys is probably among his much lesser transgressions, if you can even call it one. However, that will not stop the good folks over at the New Jersey Star-Ledger.

Cartoonist Drew Sheneman was all over the story of Christie attending the Cowboys’s playoff win against the Lions, as well as the ensuing hug with team owner Jerry Jones following the conclusion of the game.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to see the aforementioned NJ governor in a Cowboys cheerleader uniform? Fret no more. Credit to Fox 29 Philadelphia’s Steve Keeley for tweeting out the following photo.

One thing is for certain. Those shorts are not doing Mr. Christie any favors. Thanks, Drew. We really needed the imagery. Millions of people were probably clamoring for this artistic rendering after watching Sunday afternoon’s game.
