QB Terrelle Pryor has found his latest home in the NFL. The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly signed Pryor to a one-year deal.

With the Kansas City Chiefs playing golf now since they missed out on the playoffs, head coach Andy Reid and the Chiefs’ front office are trying ways to improve for 2015. One way is apparently by signing a Terrelle Pryor to a one-year deal.

Earlier on Wednesday it was announced the Chiefs were bringing in Pryor for a workout.

Pryor failed to find a permanent NFL home in 2014 after being cut from the Seattle Seahawks. His NFL career has been a bumpy road ever since the Raiders drafted him in the 2011 NFL Supplemental Draft. It appears to that the Chiefs aren’t taking much of a risk with this deal.

Current Chiefs starting quarterback Alex Smith signed a new four-year contract at the beginning of the 2014 NFL season. There’s no way Pryor will overtake Smith for the starting gig.

Luckily for Pryor, another team is giving him a chance. He’ll serve as either the backup QB or third-string QB, but finding a new home will be beneficial for the former Ohio State star. It will allow him to work on his mechanics and skill.

Pryor has thrown for 1,953 total yards, nine touchdowns, 12 interceptions, has a passer rating of 69.3, and scored three rushing touchdowns along with a total of 627 rushing yards during his NFL career.

Signing Pryor as a backup or third-string QB doesn’t hurt the Chiefs salary cap or their chance for success in 2015.

This chance for Pryor is to prove his worth and silence the haters who haven’t given him a chance since his Raiders playing days.
