Stand-up comedian and professional hottie Jenn Sterger said she wrote a joke directed at Florida State football which resulted in Oregon players chanting ‘no means no’.
Last week during the celebration of the Oregon Ducks’ merciless beat down on the Florida State Seminoles, Ducks players reportedly directed a chant at the Seminoles, particularly QB Jameis Winston. The Ducks players used the same beat as the classic FSU Seminoles war chant except with the words “no means no.”

The chant caught the ire of the Oregon administration, but that’s hardly the worst of it for the university. As it turns out, the joke behind the chant was written by none other than FSU alum Jenn Sterger, who has been working on stand up comedy as of late. The joke, it appears, is on the Seminoles.
Sterger confirmed her role in the chant on Brett Kreischer’s podcast, per College Spun.
"“I said ‘Yeah, sure, I love being mean.’ And I wrote a bunch of jokes, they crushed, and I mean, I ripped both teams to shreds, and their respective rivals. I mean, the Gators were destroyed. But the joke that killed the hardest, for Oregon, was Brad [Williams] said “Hey guys, just have a great time in Hollywood, and remember ‘Noooo means noooo!’””"
While Sterger didn’t deny that she wrote a rape joke, she noted in her defense, “it’s more about a PSA.”
Sterger has been working her stand-up game with added fervor of late and she’s even returned to FSU games, as previously noted, but it seems she’s gotten into the shady side of comedy with her latest bit.
The Ducks beat the Seminoles 59-20 in the college football playoff semifinal. In doing so, Oregon earned the right to play the Ohio State Buckeyes for the national title on January 12 in the first year of the new playoff format.
The Seminoles were the defending national champions after defeating Auburn last year in the final season of the BCS ranking system determining the final pairing. They won thanks in major part to a Heisman-winning performance by Jameis Winston, but Winston struggled against the Ducks in their loss.
Next year, FSU will have to try to repeat their success without Winston, who is bound for the NFL.
Sterger has long been a Seminoles fan — among their most famous — but she’s a woman first and while her joke’s topic is no laughing matter, it’s not hard to believe that she saw an opportunity to take a stand for something she clearly believes in, even if the message itself came in a cruder context.
