In addition to trying to tackle him, apparently you also don’t want to get into a joke contest with Ohio State QB Cardale Jones.

Just two days before the first ever College Football Playoff National Championship Game, Media Day was held in Dallas on Saturday as the Ohio State and Oregon players hit the podium. When it was all said and done, though, Cardale Jones may have stolen the show.

Oh, and it wasn’t even from a question that was asked by the media, rather it was fueled by teammate and roommate, Tyvis Powell.

At one point while the Buckeyes quarterback was at the podium, Powell decided that he would go crack some jokes at the expense of his buddy. Well, apparently, that’s not a good idea because Jones will end up owning you with a comeback like this…

Well, you can give that round to Jones, for sure.

Not just here, but throughout his whole session on Saturday Jones seemed about as comfortable and at ease as possible, which might not be a good sign for the Oregon Ducks on Monday night. Nothing really seems to phase this kid.

Here is the full video of the hilarious exchange between the two.
