By Josh Hill
The Buffalo Bills are making waves in the NFL on Sunday morning, hiring Rex Ryan and filling out his staff with some real talent.
It’s been a busy Sunday for the Buffalo Bills, as they may not be in the playoffs but they’re stealing all of the headlines. After hiring Rex Ryan and becoming the first team of the offseason to officially have changed head coaches, the Bills began filling out his staff.

There were whispers that Rex Ryan would be bringing in his own defensive coordinator to replace Jim Schwartz, but that has now become a revised plan. Rex Ryan is planning on keeping Jim Schwartz but is in the market for an offensive coordinator.
According to Alex Marvez from FOX Sports, the Bills will be hiring Greg Roman away from the San Francisco 49ers and adding him to their staff.
This not only gives the Bills a solid offensive coordinator but it puts a hole in the San Francisco 49ers staff that will need to be filled. There are a slew of offensive coordinator options on the table for the Niners, including Kyle Shanahan and Marc Trestman — both quarterback gurus who can help Colin Kaepernick develop.
As for the Bills, Roman now has E.J. Manuel to work with. It’s a significant downgrade from Kaepernick, but he has the same skill set that Roman may be able to hone and polish. That’s the hope anyways, as Manuel is the only option for the Bills at the moment, who are all but certain to find free agent help — possibly in the form of former Rex Ryan quarterback Michael Vick.
