The Chicago Bears are in need of a new head coach, and they seem to be interested in a guy who doesn’t really want the job — for now.
The Baltimore Ravens are out of the playoffs, but the foundation for a serious run at a Super Bowl seems to be in place moving into 2015. Offensive Coordinator Gary Kubiak was a guru for Joe Flacco and the Ravens usually stagnant offense, which was proved in the AFC Divisional matchup that took place on Saturday.

Not only did Baltimore almost be a the Patriots in New England, Kubiak’s offense marched into Foxboro and put up 31-points. New England’s defense isn’t legendary, but they’re not a team that regularly allows four Joe Flacco touchdowns in one game.
That success has mounted on already soaring opinions of Kubaik around the NFL as teams start to reach out to him about being a head coach again. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Chicago Bears are going to be making a hard push to try and hire Kubiak to right their ship in 2015.
Bears prepared to make a major push for Ravens OC Gary Kubiak, per source. Kubiak now free to talk with teams about HC vacancies.

The only problem with this is that is Kubiak seems complacent in Baltimore and isn’t in a rush to get back to being a head coach. After all, his last outing ended do badly that it literally caused him to have a stroke in the middle of a game.
Kubiak will likely become a head coach again in the near future, and it could still happen as soon as 2015. He’s in demand, which hasn’t been the case for a while but Kubiak has a decision to make one way or another and has to do it quickly as teams scramble to find head coaches.
