An awesome Oregon Ducks fan trolls his classmates, all Ohio State Buckeyes fans, in their school picture

A young Oregon Ducks fan living in Ohio showed up to school on class picture day rocking an all-black Oregon jersey to the shock of most of Ohio State-jersey-wearing classmates.

As a kid who wore a Terrell Davis or John Elway jersey on school picture day from first to fifth grade, I have nothing but admiration for this youngster from Big Walnut Intermediate School in Sunbury, Ohio.

Ryan McLane, the Principal of Big Walnut Intermediate School, posted the hilarious photo of the Ducks fan trolling all the Ohio State fans on his twitter account. Within two hours, the picture had 310 retweets and 367 favorites. By the end of the day, I’m assuming it’s going to have way, way, way more than that. I bet it’s even going to end up on ESPN during the national championship game.

As you know, Oregon plays Ohio State on Monday in the NCAA national championship game. If Oregon loses, this kid is going to be tormented by his classmates, likely, for the rest of his life. He’ll be known as “the loser Oregon fan” until he graduates high school, and then he’ll probably be “the loser that goes to Oregon” after that.

But, if Oregon wins, this kid has bragging rights over all of his classmates forever.

It’s as bold strategy, Cotton. Let’s see if it pays off for him.

That’s not just any Oregon jersey either; that’s a DeAnthony Thomas jersey, which tells me two things about this kid.

  1. He’s a fan of ballers, because that’s what DeAnthony Thomas is and was at Oregon, a baller.
  2. He’s a high-roller. According to eBay, that’s a $65 jersey he’s wearing. That’s no cheap, worn-out jersey like all those Ohio State kids are wearing. Some of those Ohio State jerseys look like they’re from the 1970s.

I’d also like to mention how disturbing it is that all the kids in the class have Ohio State jerseys. I mean, fandom is one thing, but those kids look like they’re being brainwashed to go to Ohio State.

It’s like the Children of the Corn, except all the scary kids are wearing football jerseys.

Apparently, everyone loves football in the midwest, too. I thought it was just a Southern thing.

Way to show up and show out for your team, young Oregon fan. That takes a ton of courage most people don’t have.
