We are just a mere hours away from the first ever College Football Playoff National Championship game, where Marcus Mariota and the Oregon Ducks will be out to get the program their first football national title trophy.
With a win of that magnitude, Mariota will definitely cement his legacy as one of the best college quarterbacks to ever step foot on a field, and he’s ready to represent his hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii while he’s competing on Monday night.
When the Heisman winner takes the field against Ohio State, he will be wearing a pretty awesome facemask that actually spells out the area code of Honolulu, 808.

Just another example of the Ducks getting a little creative with their uniforms, although this one holds a pretty special place in the heart of the Oregon quarterback as he sets out to make history.
