The Oregon Police Department are showing their support for the Oregon Ducks.
Even the Oregon Police Department is showing their excitement for the National Championship game.
Police vehicles in Eugene, Oregon have been seen all decked out in Oregon Ducks gear today as the Ducks get ready to play for the National Championship against the Ohio State Buckeyes later tonight.

Doesn’t that kind of jeopardize their authority a bit? I mean, If I’m driving through Eugene, Oregon and I see police lights in my rearview, but I see that cop car, how am I supposed to take that seriously?
In any event, the Eugene PD are definitely all in for this National Championship game.

The Oregon Ducks have earned a place in the National Championship game by beating the Florida State Seminoles in their first ever College Football Playoff game. It will be their first appearance in the National Championship since 2010 and only their second appearance in the school’s history. Oregon lost the National Championship game back in 2010 to Cam Newton and the Auburn Tigers.
The Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide in their College Football Playoff game to earn their place in the National Championship.
It’s very understandable that most of Oregon is going to be pretty excited about the game. It’s only Oregon’s second time being in the National Championship game, so they haven’t experienced this very often. If they are able to beat the Buckeyes tonight, it would be there first ever National Championship, so I’m sure all the Oregon fans are feeling all kinds of emotions about the possibility of that happening tonight.
It’s pretty cool to see that even the police department is getting in on the festivities and the excitement, but there’s still no way they’re going to be taken seriously pulling anyone over with a huge football helmet on top of their car.
H/T to Darren Rovell.
