TCU football is still salty that they didn’t make the College Football Playoff. They foolishly want to take on the winner of the National Championship game.
Everyone has their haters and there are many that are still not happy with the new four-team College Playoff system. It’s arguably much better than the BCS system that would have given us an Alabama-Florida State final. Instead, we are seeing a thrilling Ohio State–Oregon National Championship Game. Yet, TCU still has an ax to grind after being omitted from the College Playoff and rightfully being assigned to a bowl game.

I’d love to see TCU face the winner of the National Championship. Whether it’s Oregon or Ohio State, they would steam roll TCU. Both programs are a level ahead of TCU and play in a more challenging conference as well. If the Big 12 had a true conference championship like the rest of the power conferences, then they may have been apart of the four-team playoff. At the same time, Baylor was declared the Big 12 conference champions for bragging rights sake, yet both TCU and Baylor were given conference championship gear.

The College Football Playoff committee clearly named the top-four teams right. At this point, TCU needs to focus their energy on the 2015 season and the chance to compete in next year’s playoff. Until then, everyone will think 2014 was a fluke until proven wrong as either Ohio St. or Oregon lift the inaugural College Football Playoff trophy on Monday.
Suck it up TCU. You can troll all you want, but all four college football playoff participants would whoop your butt.
