1. Chicago Bears

John Fox’s best fit would be with the Chicago Bears, who are searching for a new head coach after firing Marc Trestman earlier this year. They are looking for a coach that can bring discipline, and can put the talent together and get them to realize their full potential.

Jay Cutler had a rough season this year, and was actually benched in favor of Jimmy Clausen in Week 16. Despite that fact, he is the starting quarterback heading into next season. Perhaps the change that Fox would bring to the team would be what it takes for the Bears’ offense to get back on track.

Chicago finished up the season ranking 15th in passing offense and 27th in rushing offense. Their defense was poor to say the very least, and they finished 30th against the pass and 17th against the run. Those numbers aren’t going to cut it for many teams, especially when the offense is inconsistent.

There is no question that the Bears would be the best place for Fox to land. He could help turn their franchise back around, and be the consistent and experienced head coach that Trestmas simply wasn’t able to be.
