Kickoff for the AFC Championship Game between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots has been delayed after the NFC Championship Game between the Packers and Seahawks went to overtime.

Fans of the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots will have to be patient for the start of the AFC Championship Game after the start of the game was pushed back 10 minutes.

The start of the game was delayed because the NFC Championship Game is in overtime after the Seattle Seahawks overcame a 16-point halftime deficit to take a short-lived three point lead and Mason Crosby hit the game-tying field goal in the closing seconds.

Seattle ended up winning on their first possession in overtime on a pass from Russell Wilson to Jermaine Kearse from 35 yards out so you don’t need to worry about any further delays as this game will not linger into the early evening hours.

The AFC Championship Game has some big shoes to fill if it hopes to provide the same type of late-game suspense, drama and fireworks that the NFC game provided, but then again something tells me Tom Brady and Andrew Luck have something up their sleeves.
