The Indianapolis Colts are in Foxborough Sunday for the AFC Championship and, at first glance, one might think Tony Dungy was back and ready to go.
Tony Dungy took the Indianapolis Colts to Foxborough for a pair of playoff contests against the New England Patriots.
But the Colts lost both times—24-13 in the 2003 AFC Championship and 20-3 in a 2004 AFC Divisional Playoff game.
So with the Colts back at Gillette Stadium once again, maybe it wouldn’t be a shock if Dungy wanted another shot:
This guy is totally ready for today's game. It's Fake Tony Dungy! pic.twitter.com/fBuVrfsQmg

But, alas, it’s not Tony Dungy. No, it’s Phony Dungy.

Give the guy credit. His attention to detail is remarkable, right down to the red challenge flag tucked into his belt.
And there’s a certain amount of bravery involved in dressing up like a former coach for the opposition and going into enemy territory.
The real Tony Dungy coached the Colts for seven years and was 85-27 in the regular season and 7-6 in the playoffs, including a win in Super Bowl XLI in Miami.
Dungy was also coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for six seasons, going 54-42, but just 2-4 in the playoffs. He was let go after the Bucs were eliminated from the 2001 playoffs.
And he was almost back for the 2014 playoffs.
