After bouncing back from a 3-3 start to the season by winning nine of their last ten NFL regular season games, earning the NFC’s No. 1 seed for the second straight season and ousting the Carolina Panthers from the playoffs, the defending Super Bowl champs found themselves trailing all game.

The Green Bay Packers held a 19-7 lead and, although Seattle had finally managed to get on the board, momentum still seemed to be something their offense could not foster. That is what makes the following audio clip, one that features Seattle broadcasters going insane over the eventual game winning touchdown catch by Jermaine Kearse, all the more special.

Cut to 2:09 on the clock.

That is when a one-yard score by Russell Wilson made the game 19-14, with an onside kick coming. In true Seahawks fashion, the special teams unit came up big and recovered the ball.

About 45 seconds later, the team took a 22-19 lead thanks to a huge run by Marshawn Lynch and an incredibly fortunate two-point conversion that Ha Ha Clinton-Dix inexplicably fell asleep on. A quick drive down field by Aaron Rodgers and company set up a Mason Crosby field goal to send the game into overtime.

When the Seahawks won the coin toss, they elected to receive. We can let the following audio clip finish the story for you.
