The Denver Nuggets’ guard all-out effort caused a delay in  a conference game against San Antonio

The Denver Nuggets are struggling at 18-24 this year and just got beat by 40+ points by the Golden Sate Warriors on Monday. Taking away alcohol from your fans is probably not the best idea in the world. Against San Antonio Tuesday night, Randy Foye robbed some Nuggets fans of their last solace.

Chasing a basketball out of bounds, Foye crashed into the courtside seats into the fans and a courtside attendant delivering alcohol to those in the premium seats.

The tray of beers the attendant was holding spilled all over the court and onto the fans sitting courtside.

A delay occurred while the spill was cleaned up. The Nuggets’ mascot Rocky even came over with a giant towel featuring his own likeness to dry off the court.

The Nuggets are sitting 6 1/2 games out of a playoff spot in the Western Conference and still have a long forty games to go on the year. They can’t afford to also take out the alcohol supply. Espescially, with how the Denver Broncos season ended.

The Nuggets already traded away center Timofey Mozgov earlier this month and perhaps they could trade for some beer protection.

Won’t someone please think of the beer?
