ESPN like many didn’t venture to guess at the next Buckeyes quarterback.

Ohio State and Urban Meyer have a tough decision next year on who will be the starting quarterback for the Buckeyes. There are three viable candidates with Braxton Miller, J.T. Barrett, and Cardale Jones. All offer  a strong argument to be under center next season. ESPN showed a graphic displaying the top five returning quarterbacks next year.

It appears through the humorous graphic, they don’t have a clue like the rest of us.

Braxton Miller was the original signal caller, before he went down with an injury at the start of last season. There have been even rumors of him possibly transferring to Florida State.

J.T. Barrett was the man after him, who lead Ohio State valiantly the rest of the way before going down against Michigan.

Finally, Cardale Jones, the world’s best third-string quarterback, took over in the Michigan game and led the Buckeyes to a victory over Michigan, Wisconsin in the Big 10 title game, Alabama in the first round of the College Football Playoff, and finally to a national championship when they defeated Oregon.

So when ESPN ranked their top returning quarterbacks for next year, they decided to just feature the Ohio State logo in the graphic.

ESPN isn’t wrong, no one has any idea what Ohio State is going to do next year, especially with Jones not declaring for the 2015 NFL Draft.

So if you’re trying to figure out who will be the Buckeyes quarterback next year is, don’t ask ESPN for help.
