I don’t really like the days where there are only two games going, so I do recommend that you don’t play unless you have a healthy bankroll. However, if you decide to play, this is the late night FanDuel lineup that I will be using tonight. Remember, it’s important that on nights like this that you attempt to diversify your lineup a little bit. For example, I’m leaving $1,700 on the table tonight in an attempt to diversify my lineup, and I do really like the team that I currently have.

Point Guards:
Damian Lillard, v. WAS ($9,000) – Damian Lillard has been in a shooting slump as of late, and he is still averaging upper 30’s without Aldridge in his last two games. In terms of the shooting slump, in his last ten games he is shooting a low 39.7% from the field. Although he is still in a slump, he’s still managed to average 36.75 fantasy points on FanDuel in that span. Hopefully, Lillard can bust out of his slump tonight and post us big fantasy numbers.
John Wall, at Portland ($8,800) – John Wall, like Lillard, has been up and down over his past ten games. However, with Lillard and Wall being the best point guards on the board, I don’t see how you win without them. Wall is averaging 36.1 fantasy points a game over his last ten games and should exceed that mark tonight with a fast paced game. I’m usually not a fan of playing point guards against each other, but I feel like tonight is a necessity.

Shooting Guards:
Wesley Matthews, v. WAS ($5,900)- Despite Wesley Matthews’ two game slide, he’s actually been really good over each of his last four. Shooter’s games’ sometimes revolve around the fact that they will be in a slump, and you just have to kind of take those lumps.
Joe Johnson, at UTA ($6,300)- Joe Johnson is a guy that I’ve had to pause on and think about. Yes, it’s Utah and yes he should play well. However, he has been so inconsistent. Although he has been over 20 fantasy points in nine of his last ten games, he hasn’t been able to sustain his thirty point fantasy games. However, I think tonight that he should be able to reach that threshold.

Small Forwards:
Paul Pierce, at Portland ($4,800) – No Nicolas Batum equals no problem for Paul Pierce. Pierce is coming off a 35.4 fantasy point game and his numbers say that he won’t do that again, but he should be able to have some success. With Batum doubtful for tonight’s game, I think Pierce is going to quickly become a safe and smart play.
Gordon Hayward, v. Brooklyn ($7,400)- Gordon Hayward has kind of been flying under the radar to me, but yet he is still averaging 30.37 fantasy points a game over his last ten. I think Hayward won’t be the guy to win it for you, as everyone should have him, but may just be the one to lose it for you. So you have to play Hayward.

Power Forwards:
Thomas Robinson, v. WAS ($4,200) – There was a slight change on news today that has come as a huge surprise. LaMarcus Aldridge will play tonight against the Wizards. LaMarcus Aldridge was originally expected to miss 6 to 8 weeks, but decided that he was going to play and postpone his surgery. I think with how well Robinson has played that he will still see solid minutes in tonight’s contest. I’m interested what Portland will try to do. They may try to run Aldridge at center and let Robinson start at power forward. For now, I’ll stick with Robinson. If anything changes, I’ll tweet it out @FFIChris.
Nene Hillario, at Portland ($5,700) – Nene has become Mr. Consistent. He is averaging 26.4 fantasy points a game and outside of two games he hasn’t really been outside of that number. He won’t give you the flashy 40 game that you may need, but he will get you 26 and that is all that I’m actually asking him to give us tonight.

Center:
Enes Kanter, v. Brooklyn ($6,200) – New look Enes Kanter? Seriously, where has this guy been? In his late two games, Kanter has managed to put up 46 fantasy points in both of them. I’m not sure if you’ve realized how bad Brooklyn was on defense on Thursday night, but lets hope they are that horrible again. Kanter should be in line for another great game tonight, and I’m buying in.
