The Michigan Wolverines’ new coach, Jim Harbaugh, had fun at the basketball game Saturday
Ever since Jim Harbaugh left the San Francisco 49ers for Michigan, he has come across as a new man. Known as intense, fiery, and yelling at officials, he has been anything but in his short time in Ann Arbor. Now, obviously football season hasn’t started yet, and Harbaugh will probably be Harbaugh on the sidelines, but off the field he’s been a fun guy interacting with fans and now shooting half-court shots.

With ESPN College GameDay in town for Michigan vs. No. 6 Wisconsin, Harbaugh was out having fun on the court before the game.
Harbaugh attempted a half-court shot, which he missed, but he came just as close as you can to making it. The shot had the distance bounced right off the rim. If you look at the reaction of everyone, they were convinced Harbaugh had made it.
Jim’s fun at the game didn’t stop there either. He interacted with members of the band and even tried playing the piccolo.

So Harbaugh, the guy were used to seeing yelling and throwing headsets, is now Ann Arbor’s favorite person. Harbaugh will now be known as the guy who goes around playing musical instruments and shooting hoops.
Recruiting against the undisputed champs Ohio State will be hard enough but Harbaugh is doing a good job of making Michigan come off as a fun environment for players.
No word on if he can actually play the piccolo.
