New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was a guest on “Conan” this week. While on air, he showed the audience, as well as O’Brien himself, the effects and predictability of air pressure on a football.

“Deflategate” has been the hot topic of the NFL world the past two weeks. Virtually everyone has an opinion on the matter. However, regardless of one’s stance, most people are likely sick of hearing about it.

That did not stop Conan O’Brien from taking the direction of his show to the subject. When special guest Drew Brees was on set, Conan made certain the bring up the topic and gave the New Orleans Saints all pro quarterback a few footballs to see if he could predict the air pressure in them. After going through a few pigskins registering at 13 PSI (standard for the NFL), 11 PSI (2 units under-inflated), he was handed a severely deflated ball by the show’s host.

Brees would then toss the 13 PSI, and severely deflated, football into the audience. Conan would remark after the latter throw that the quarterback had just demonstrated that it is easier to throw and catch an under-inflated football. While the nation collective sighs and tries to move on to Super Bowl 49 between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, let this video be the final time anyone mentions the scandal until after the game.
