There are only four games in the NBA tonight, but the folks at FanDuel still created a late-night tournament for the later games. I have concocted a few different lineups, butĀ they allĀ ended upĀ very similar. For that reason,Ā I will putĀ my late night lineups inĀ this post as well as the ā€œCā€ lineup.

More from FanDuel

Here are my FanDuel lineups for January 29th:

Point Guards:

Bargains:

Langston Galloway, Knicks ($4,800): Galloway still ended up with 20 fantasy points against Charlotte on Saturday. That performance impressed the Knicks so much that they signed him for the rest of the season. He has played 28 or more minutes inĀ six straight games now, and has averagedĀ 26 fantasy points per gameĀ in that span. So long as his price stays in this area, he is a solid play against anyone. The fact that he held his own against Charlotte proves that. Tonight he gets a Pacers team, who is still beat up in the backcourt. It is another great matchup for Galloway.

Elfrid Payton, Magic ($6,000): Payton now has at least 25 fantasy points in eight straight games. His woes from earlier this season have evaporated. He played well against Memphis (twice), Detroit, Oklahoma City, and Chicago during this streak. All of them are in the top half of the league in guard defense. Tonight Payton faced a team in the lower half against the Bucks. He should be a lock for at least 25 fantasy points.

Worth The Cost:

Derrick Rose, Bulls ($7,200): Rose gets the Lakers tonight, which is a great matchup no matter who they run out there at the point. Rose has averaged 34.6 fantasy points per game over the last ten games, and seems to be a safe play against anyone right now. He could be the highest scorer at point guard tonight with Ty Lawson’s rough matchup against Memphis, and Mike Conley questionable.

Brandon Knight, Bucks ($7,300): Knight has been over 30 fantasy points in six of his last seven games. The only game that he wasn’t was against the Spurs. Knight is finally producing with consistency. He has a solid matchup against the Magic, and could be the most reliable option at PG tonight.

Risky Plays:

Ty Lawson, Nuggets ($9,000): The highest price option at PG also has the toughest matchup. However, if Mike Conley sits out, it is not nearly as tough. Keep an eye on the situation. If Conley misses the game, Lawson might be the strongest play of the night.

Beno Udrih, Grizzlies ($4,200): If Conley does play, I would guess that he won’t be 100 percent. That would give Udrih some more time on the court. He had mixed results with Conley out. If he does get good court time against Denver, the potential is there for a really good night. Just keep an eye on who will play in what capacity.

My Lineups:

A:Ā Knight and Rose ($14,500)

B: Lawson and Payton ($15,000)

C (late only): Lawson and Rose ($16,200)

Next: Should You Play Jimmy Butler?

Shooting Guards:

Bargains:

Rodney Stuckey, Pacers ($4,900): With George Hill’s groin flaring up again and C.J. Miles out, it leaves holes in the backcourt that Stuckey can capably fill. He played 39 minutes against the Raptors, and that was with Hill playing 20 minutes. He scored 30.4 fantasy points against Toronto. He will likely play good minutes against the Knicks tonight, making him a very intriguing option for that price.

O.J. Mayo, Bucks ($4,900): The inconsistency of Giannis Antetokounmpo has opened the door for Mayo. He fell out of favor with the Bucks last year, but this year he has been one of the few consistent players on the Bucks for the last ten games or so. Over that span, he has averaged 25.5 minutes and averaged 24 fantasy points per game. Brandon Knight is the only other guy on the team that has produced that consistently.

Worth The Cost:

Jimmy Butler, Bulls ($8,200): Butler is over the illness that sidelined him Tuesday. As a gift from the league, he gets to take aim at the Kobe-less Lakers. If Butler plays enough minutes, he could outscore everyone in fantasy tonight against that team.

Victor Oladipo, Magic ($7,000): Oladipo has been the mark of consistency since starting off slow returning from injury. In his last ten games, he has averaged 32.3 fantasy points a game. Those weren’t all easy matchups. He faced the Grizzlies twice, Detroit, Oklahoma City, and Chicago in that span. He should have no problems reaching that average tonight against the Bucks.

Risky Plays:

Tim Hardaway Jr., Knicks ($5,300): Hardaway had a great outing against the Hornets on Saturday Jose Calderon out. Then he played only 23 minutes yesterday with Calderon back on the court. It seems it would take an injury to the backcourt or Calderon being traded to make Hardaway a reliable option again. Still, he has averaged 19 fantasy points a in his last eight games in a bench role. He might be worth a shot against the Pacers.

Wayne Ellington, Lakers ($4,800): Ellington had the best game of his young career on Tuesday against the Wizards. He racked up a career high 28 points, and a career high 40.1 fantasy points. Still, it is hard to trust him since he was barely cracking 20 in his starts with Kobe Bryant out. This situation is worth watching because the Lakers are clearly letting their young guys play. Ellington could have a tough time against Jimmy Butler and the Bulls tonight, but with Nick Young out again, I would think that Ellington plays at least 35 minutes. He could still put up solid numbers.

My Lineups:

A: Butler and Stuckey ($13,100)

B: Stuckey and Ellington ($9,700)

C (late only): Jordan Clarkson and Courtney Lee ($8,000): Clarkson has put up solid numbers as the starting PG for the Lakers, and Lee is a solid 18-20 points. Hey, I needed the money for Lawson.

Next: No Star Power Tonight At SF If Carmelo Anthony Sits

Small Forward:

Bargains:

Lance Thomas, Knicks ($4,000): Signs seem to point to Carmelo Anthony resting in the second game of a back-to-back again, which makes Thomas an outstanding option for the price. He has averaged 30.4 fantasy points over the last three games, and only started one of those games. The Knicks are going to give Thomas 25 minutes regardless of whether Anthony plays or not.

Jeff Green, Grizzlies ($5,200): Green is not the fantasy asset that he was with Boston last year, but the Grizzlies have been giving him starter’s minutes. He doesn’t always do a lot with them, but he has topped 25 fantasy points in four of the eight games with the team. The chances of him doing that tonight in Denver are really good.

Worth The Cost:

Khris Middleton, Bucks ($5,500): Middleton has 20 or more fantasy points in all but one of his last 12 games. On a weak night at SF, he is one of the more reliable options. Especially if Carmelo Anthony sits out.

Carmelo Anthony, Knicks ($9,600): Anthony could be the best player of the night if he takes the court. That is a big if. He is clearly healthy enough to play as he proved with 49.5 fantasy points against the Thunder last night. The issue here is the Knicks not wanting to do lasting damage to his knee inĀ a lost season. The Knicks are heading for a high lottery pick, and want to use that selection along with free agents (Goran Dragic, anyone?) to make the Knicks a contender next year around Anthony. I would bet they rest him tonight, but if they don’t, find a way to get him in your lineup.

Risky Plays:

Wilson Chandler, Nuggets ($5,900): Chandler has averaged 30.6 fantasy points in his last four games. He is on a nice little hot streak, but I have a hard time trusting him against a good defense like Memphis.

Danilo Galinari, Nuggets ($3,500): Galinari has increased his minutes since returning from a meniscus tear four games ago. While I wouldnt expect him to go much above 20 tonight, even in a blowout, he is starting to find his shot. He could produce in the mid-20’s fantasy wise for really cheap. The other side of that coin is that you could miss big if the Grizzlies shut him down.

My Lineups:

A: Middleton and Thomas ($9,500)

B: Middleton and Green ($10,700)

C (late only): Chandler and Green ($11,100)

Next: You Need To Spend At PF Tonight

Power Forwards:

Bargains:

Taj Gibson, Bulls ($5,900): Gibson is likely the sixth man of the year right now. He has averaged 27.5 fantasy points per game over his last eight outings. He has a great matchup against the Lakers tonight. He also might get an extended run when this game gets out of hand to rest Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah. There are far more reasons to play Gibson than not tonight.

David West, Pacers ($6,500): West has been over 20 fantasy points in all but two games since his return. He is not the elite player that he once was, but he is still a strong player in the Pacers’s frontcourt. The Knicks are battered and broken up front. Expect West to take full advantage of that tonight.

Worth The Cost:

Pau Gasol, Bulls ($9,500): Gasol could abuse the Lakers up front tonight. Add to that the whole revenge factor, and you could see Pau at about 50 fantasy points again. That is if he doesn’t rest most of the second half in what likely will be a blowout.

Zach Randolph, Grizzlies ($8,600): Few players have been as consistent as Randolph in his last dozen games or so. He has averaged 38.6 fantasy points over his last 12 games. He is the most reliable option out there tonight. You know what you are going to get out of Randolph. You may even get more against the young and inexperienced Denver frontcourt.

Risky Plays:

Kenneth Faried, Nuggets ($6,600): He held his own against Anthony Davis last night, but he was stymied by Blake Griffin on Monday. Now he has to tangle with Zach Randolph. Such is life in the Western Conference. Faried simply does not produce at a consistent enough level to rely on night in and night out. Play him at your own risk.

John Henson, Bucks ($4,500): Zaza Pachulia is questionable to play tonight which means that Henson would get the start at center if Pachulia is unable to play. Still, there is a good chance that Pachulia doesn’t play hisĀ normal 30+ minutes, leaving the door open for Henson. He is averaging Ā one fantasy point per minute over his last five games. He could be a nice surprise if he gets the start.

My Lineups:

A: Randolph and Gibson ($15,500)

B: Gasol and Randolph ($18,100)

C (late only): Gasol and Randolph ($18,100)

Next: Do You Dare Go Cheap At C?

Jan 25, 2015; Orlando, FL, USA; Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert (55) goes after the rebound on the court against the Orlando Magic during the second quarter at Amway Center. Mandatory Credit: Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Center:

Bargains:

Roy Hibbert, Pacers ($5,600): Hibbert is no longer an elite fantasy option, but he is an elite shot blocker and rebounder against undersized teams. That is exactly what the Knicks are. Amare Stoudamire and Cole Aldrich are both out tonight. That means Lou Amundson and Jason Smith will be charged with trying to stop Hibbert. Good luck with that.

Worth The Cost:

Marc Gasol, Grizzlies ($8,400): Gasol dropped below 30 fantasy points against Dallas last night for the first time in nine games. Of course, he only played 28 minutes. Even if his minutes are limited tonight as well, I would expect Gasol to be comfortably above 30 against Denver.

Nikola Vucevic, Magic ($9,100): Vucevic gets to take on a decimated Bucks frontcourt tonight. We have seen the young center put up monster games against inferior competition before this season. He put up 62 fantasy points against the Knicks on Friday. Could that happen against the Bucks tonight? I wouldn’t rule it out. And you get the comfort that even at worst, Vucevic has been above 25 fantasy points. That minimizes the risk quite a bit.

Risky Play:

Joakim Noah, Bulls ($6,500): Noah was dominant agianst the Warriors on Tuesday with 18 points, 15 rebounds, and six assists. He hasn’t posted lines like that with any consistency this season, so be careful when you play him. That said, he does have a good looking matchup against the Lakers looming tonight.

My Lineups:

A: Gasol ($8,400)

B: Noah ($6,500)

C (late only): Noah ($6,500)
