If you are New Jersey governor Chris Christie, things have been anything but smooth for you lately. Not only has his candidacy for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination come into question after a rocky 2013 and 2014, but his beloved Dallas Cowboys were ousted from the 2015 NFL playoffs by the Green Bay Packers just a few weeks ago. If that all was not enough, apparently footage of a fall suffered by Christie last June has surfaced online. Just before an interview with SportsRadio 94WIP in Philadelphia, the NJ governor fell out of his chair when attempting to sit down.
The showās host, Angelo Cataldi, is a New Jersey native. We can surmise that he is not a huge fan of Christieās affinity for the Cowboys. It is with that understanding that it comes as little to no surprise that he released the footage from last Summer on the day of his annual Wing Bowl. Need a little entertainment value? Well, lucky for you, we have posted the video just below.
Anyone else think the Benny Hill theme adds the perfect touch to this blunder, which will forever be immortalized by the internet? Yeah, we thought so.
