There areĀ nine games in the NBA tonight for the all day FanDuel Lineups. There are also turbo and late night FanDuel tournaments to keep all of us occupied for the night. We will have all of the other tournament lineups for you before the respective games tip off!

More from FanDuel

There are a lot of stars out tonight, and by out I mean sitting out. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Jrue Holliday, and Dwight Howard have already been ruled out. Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins are questionable. That leaves a lot of little-known players that could have a big fantasy impact tonight.

Here are my FanDuel lineups for January 30th:

Point Guards:

Bargains:

Derrick Rose, Bulls ($7,200): His shooting percentage won’t hurt you in FanDuel. It’s a good thing too. He has struggled from the field in three of his last four games, but he still produces at a high level fantasy-wise. He has averaged 33.9 fantasy points over his last ten games, which makes him well worth the cost.

Isaiah Thomas, Suns ($5,800): Thomas has done well in his bench role over the last five games. He has averaged 31.3 fantasy points per game over that span, which included games against the Clippers and Blazers. He seems to be a strong play again, even against Jimmy Butler and the Bulls. I wouldn’t bank on 30, but he has not been under 25 in two weeks, so you should be able to get that out of him. Which would turn out to be a good bargain.

Worth The Cost:

Kyrie Irving, Cavaliers ($9,500): Irving exploded last night with LeBron James out. Irving has 123.9 fantasy points over the last two games. That could be the best two game output of anyone this year! With James out again and the Cavs playing the Kings (you remember the Kings….the team that Klay Thompson lit up last week), Irving could have another huge game.

Michael Carter-Williams, 76ers ($8,500): The Timberwolves still don’t have Ricky Rubio back, so they remain a good matchup. MCW played well against the Pistons on Wedneday. Well enough for me to recommend him here. He was outstanding when Tony Wroten was out earlier this year. He seems to be getting back to that again with Wroten out. If you take out his below average game against the tough Grizzlies, he has averaged 43.5 fantasy points over his last four games. He could come close to that against Minnesota tonight.

Risky Plays:

Chris Paul, Clippers ($9,700): Paul has been under 40 fantasy points in four of his last six games. Yes, 40 is a high standard, but that is what you expect if you are spending one sixth of your salary on one player. Paul has not been living up to that lofty price tag lately, and he likely won’t tonight against the Pelicans either.

Jarrett Jack, Nets ($7,000): I still like Jack and his game, but now his price is up to the point where he is a little bit of a risk. He has been under 20 fantasy points four times since taking over the starting job again, which really hurts if you spend 7k on him. Then again, he has averaged 34.3 fantasy points over his last six games, so maybe he isn’t that much of a risk after all.

My Lineups:

A:Ā IrvingĀ and JackĀ ($16,500)

B:Ā Carter-Williams and Rose Ā ($15,700):

Dec 29, 2014; Miami, FL, USA; Miami Heat forward Danny Granger (right) talks with Miami Heat guard Norris Cole (left) during the second half against Orlando Magic at American Airlines Arena. Mandatory Credit: Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

Bargains:

Danny Granger, Heat ($3,700): Granger played a season high 36 minutes against the Bucks on Wednesday, and produced 26.2 fantasy points. Those are really good numbers for that price. With Wade and Luol Deng out again tonight, Granger should have as many minutes as he can handle once again. That makes him one of the best cheap plays of the night.

Eric Gordon, Pelicans ($5,700): Gordon has averaged 26.5 fantasy points per game over his last ten games. He is not extraordinary by any means, but he is a very consistent option for a reasonable price. Never underestimate that commodity in daily fantasy games.

Worth The Cost:

James Harden, Rockets ($11,200): Harden has a great matchup against the Celtics tonight. He has also topped 50 fantasy points in four of his last five games. He is a good bet to get over that against the Celtics tonight unless the game gets out of hand early. Even then, Harden will likely be the reason it gets out of hand in the first place. He should be a lock for at least 40 fantasy points, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he got into the mid 50’s.

Jimmy Butler, Bulls ($8,200): Butler put up 49.9 fantasy points up on the Lakers last night in 49 minutes. The Suns aren’t particularly great on defense either, so the Bulls’ sharpshooter could have another very good game.

Klay Thompson, Warriors ($8,800): Thompson has not been under 30 fantasy points in his last eight games, and is averaging 42.8 fantasy points over that span. There are few players hotter than Thompson right now, and none of them are as low as his price is.

Risky Plays:

Kevin Martin, Timberwolves ($6,600): Martin played 29 minutes in his return to the court on Wednesday. In fact, he didn’t really take a big swath out of anyone’s minutes, so the Timberwolves are finding a way to showcase Martin and develop their young players at the same time. At least for one game anyway. The thing that concerns me tonight is that the 76ers perimeter defense has been very good since the calendar hit 2015, and if Martin can’t find ways to get the ball in the hoop, he is not going to help you. There are far more sure things than Martin tonight.

J.R. Smith, Cavaliers ($5,600): The return of Iman Shumpert has hurt Smith’s value. He has averaged only 15.7 fantasy points per game since Shumpert’s return. The thing that makes me consider Smith tonight is the fact that he is playing the Kings, who have been lit up on the perimeter lately. Just be aware that he could be a total dud again.

My Lineups:

A:Ā Thompson and Butler Ā ($17,000)

B: Harden and Granger ($14,900)

Small Forward:

Bargains:

Joe Ingles, Jazz ($4,300): Ingles has taken the SG job and run with it since Rodney Hood went down. The struggles of Dante Exum have made this an easy decision for the Jazz. Ingles has averaged 24 fantasy points per game over his last four games, which is great production for his price. He is finding his role in the offense, and producing at a higher level because of it. His price hasn’t caught his production yet.

Robert Covington, 76ers ($5,600): That’s right, I am back at the helm of the Covington bandwagon. He scored 53.2 fantasy points against two top ten defenses in the Pistons and Pelicans. I have high hopes for him tonight against the Timberwolves.

Worth The Cost:

Draymond Green, Warriors ($7,300): It has been Harrison Barnes, not Green, that has taken a big playing time his since David Lee’s return. Green had a couple of bad games when Lee first returned, but over the last ten days, he is back to doing what he does best: filling up stat sheets. He had ten points, nine rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and a steal against the Bulls on Tuesday. That kind of production really helps out in FanDuel’s scoring system. Green has averaged 31.6 fantasy points a game over his last five. He is getting you consistent production for his price.

Chandler Parsons, Mavericks ($6,000): His dud against the Pelicans is really killing his recent average, but that is his only game under 20 fantasy points sice January 10th. He is a solid play against the Heat tonight, who are without Deng and Wade both. Expect to see Parsons in the mid to high 20’s once again.

Risky Plays:

Tayshaun Prince, Celtics ($3,900): Prince’s minutes have gradually increased since his move to Boston. He was thought to be an unimportant piece of the Jeff Green deal, but Prince played 30 minutes against the Jazz on Monday and scored 29 fantasy points. If the Celtics let him keep taking these minutes, he is going to produce for you. The only problem is that you never really know which way the Celtics will go. He does have back-to-back 20 point fantasy games though. Is it enough to keep him on the floor for the Celtics?

Andrew Wiggins, Timberwolves ($6,900): Wiggins has a good matchup againstĀ Philadelphia tonight, but the return of Kevin Martin resulted in less shots for Wiggins than usual. He still scored 21 fantasy points, but you need more than that at his price. The rookie phenom has been up and down all season. In the past ten games alone, he has fluctuated between 18.9 and 53.8 fantasy points. That is a huge gap, making him a pretty big risk.

My Lineups:

A:Ā  Covington and Ingles ($9,900)

B:Ā  Ingles andĀ PrinceĀ ($8,200)

Jan 15, 2015; Houston, TX, USA; Houston Rockets forward Donatas Motiejunas (20) gets a rebound against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Toyota Center. Mandatory Credit: Thomas B. Shea-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

Bargains:

Brandon Bass, Celtics ($5,000): Bass continues to play between 25 and 35 minutes a game with Kelly Olynyk out, and that likely won’t change. His production has dipped a little, but he still has averaged 26.7 fantasy points per game since Olynyk went down. That is good production for his price.

Donatas Motiejunas, Rockets ($5,400): The return of Terrance Jones didn’t even affect Motiejunas’s minutes on the court. At least not yet. Still, while he is still playing more than 30 minutes a game, he is a great bargain. He has averaged 24.3 fantasy points per game over his last 12 games, and that includes a horrid outing against the Warriors last week. He is as solid as you can get for this price.

Worth The Cost:

Paul Millsap, Hawks ($8,400): Millsap has three straight games of over 42 fantasy points. Of course, they are against the Thunder, Timberwolves, and Nets who aren’t exactly great up front. They are not terrible either. So while he does not have a great matchup against the Trailblazers tonight, I still think he will play at a high level. He has only been under 30 fantasy points once since resting on January 13th. Tonight shouldn’t be any different.

LaMarcus Aldridge, Trailblazers ($9,900): Aldridge has put up 101.5 fantasy points in just two games since postponing surgery. Those were against the Cavs and Wizards, who are both solid teams. Yes folks, LMA can beat you with one thumb tied behind his back!

Risky Plays:

Kevin Love, Cavaliers ($8,400): Love flopped against Portland on Wednesday even with LeBron James out. It was Kyrie Irving who took over the game. Love is simply too inconsistent to rely on right now, even with James likely out again. Love has five games under 30 fantasy points in his last nine. He is not even close to worth his price right now.

Patrick Patterson, Raptors ($4,600): For whatever reason, Patterson has actually been playing as many or more minutes than starter Amir Johnson lately. He has averaged 24.5 fantasy points per game since this trend beganĀ seven games ago. Over that span, Johnson has averaged only 20 fantasy points a game. You have to play the trends, and the trend shows Patterson as the safer bet right now.

My Lineups:

A:Ā Motiejunas and BassĀ Ā ($10,400)

B:Ā Aldridge and Bass ($14,900)

Next: Should You Play Hassan Whiteside Again?

Jan 27, 2015; Miami, FL, USA; Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside (21) reacts after being fouled during the second half against the Milwaukee Bucks at American Airlines Arena. The Bucks won 109-102. Mandatory Credit: Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Center:

Bargains:

Hassan Whiteside, Heat ($6,200): Whiteside scored 36.7 fantasy points in 36 minutes against the Bucks on Tuesday. That is probably more like what he will get you that a triple double, but the fact remains that he did not block a shot against the Bucks, and still turned in that many points. He is an absolute steal at his price.

Joakim Noah, Bulls ($6,500): Noah has racked up a whopping 91.9 fantasy points in his last two games, and played over 40 minuts in each. Did his four game hiatus help him regain some of last year’s dominance? It is still too soon to tell, but if he is going to score at this rate at this price, he is worth a shot.

Worth The Cost:

Al Horford, Hawks ($8,100): Horford has put up seven straight games of 32 or more fantasy points since earning a day of rest on January 14th. In fact, he has not been below 32 fantasy points since the first week of January. He is averaging 37.8 fantasy points per game over his last ten, and is a good bet tonight against the Trailblazers, who really don’t have a true center. Chris Kaman is the closest thing they have, but he still doesn’t play more than 25 minutes per game.

Gorgui Dieng, Timberwolves ($7,100): If anything, the return of Nikola Pekovic has helped out Dieng by moving him to PF. His minutes are not down at all, and his production is actually up. He is averaging 34 fantasy points per game since the return of Pekovic. He has a great matchup against the undersized 76ers tonight, and should have no problems getting into the mid 30’s for fantasy points once again.

Risky Play:

Timofey Mozgov, Cavaliers ($5,200): Mozgov has a horrible matchup against the Kings tonight. DeMarcus Cousins has been upgraded to probable, and even at 50%, Cousins is still going to give Mozgov hell. I would stay away from this one tonight.

Enes Kanter, JazzĀ ($6,100): Kanter has a nice matchup against the Warriors tonight even if Andrew Bogut is in the lineup. However, there are three things that are going to keep me away from him. One is the presence of Rudy Gobert. Gobert is sneaking almost as many minutes as Kanter even if Kanter is playing well. Two is his inconsistency. He has a game in the teens, one in the 20’s, one in the 30’s, and one in the 40’s over the last four games. Another is the fact that Hassan Whiteside is only $100 more.

My Lineups:

A and B: Whiteside ($6,200)
