There areĀ two games in the NBA tonight for theĀ late nightĀ FanDuel Lineups. That doesn’t leave us many options for constructing our team!

More from FanDuel

Here are my late night FanDuel lineups for January 30th:

Point Guards:

Bargains:

Derrick Rose, Bulls ($7,200): His shooting percentage won’t hurt you in FanDuel. It’s a good thing too. He has struggled from the field in three of his last four games, but he still produces at a high level fantasy-wise. He has averaged 33.9 fantasy points over his last ten games, which makes him well worth the cost.

Isaiah Thomas, Suns ($5,800): Thomas has done well in his bench role over the last five games. He has averaged 31.3 fantasy points per game over that span, which included games against the Clippers and Blazers. He seems to be a strong play again, even against Jimmy Butler and the Bulls. I wouldn’t bank on 30, but he has not been under 25 in two weeks, so you should be able to get that out of him. Which would turn out to be a good bargain.

Worth The Cost:

Stephen Curry, Warriors ($9,800): Curry has put together back-to-back 40 fantasy points games. He is the only guy at the position that even gives you a chance at 50 tonight, so if you have the money, spend it!

Risky Plays:

Goran Dragic, Suns ($6,500): Why do I trust Thomas more than Dragic? Because Thomas hasn’t been under 20 fantasy points in his last six games. Dragic has been twice. He should be a decent option against the Bulls, and he has more potential for a 40 point game that Thomas does, but Thomas is slightly more reliable.

Trey Burke, Jazz ($5,500): Dante Exum has still been taking minutes from Burke, but he hasn’t played that well when he has been on the court anyway. Burke had been under 20 fantasy points in four of his last five games. I’m not taking that chance with other suitable options available.

My Lineups:

A: Rose and ThomasĀ ($13,000)

B: Curry and Thomas ($15,600)

Shooting Guards:

Bargains:

Elijah Millsap, Jazz ($3,500): There are no real bargains at SG tonight since the starting SG for the Jazz is at SF for FanDuel (Joe Ingles). That leaves Millsap, who has been in double digit fantasy points in four of the last five games, but only one of those has been over 15 points. Just spend the cash. You don’t want to play roulette with all of the backups tonight.

Worth The Cost:

Jimmy Butler, Bulls ($8,200): Butler put up 49.9 fantasy points up on the Lakers last night in 49 minutes. The Suns aren’t particularly great on defense either, so the Bulls’ sharpshooter could have another very good game.

Klay Thompson, Warriors ($8,800): Thompson has not been under 30 fantasy points in his last eight games, and is averaging 42.8 fantasy points over that span. There are few players hotter than Thompson right now, and none of them are as low as his price is.

Risky Plays:

Eric Bledsoe, Suns ($8,600): Bledsoe is slightly more risky than the other two simply because Butler is a good defender as well. That said, He has only been under 30 fantasy points once in his last five games, and that was against the Wizards who have proven to be a good defensive team.

My Lineups:

A and B: Thompson and Butler ($17,000)

Next: SF Is Also A Gamble

Small Forward:

Bargains:

Joe Ingles, Jazz ($4,300): Ingles has taken the SG job and run with it since Rodney Hood went down. The struggles of Dante Exum have made this an easy decision for the Jazz. Ingles has averaged 24 fantasy points per game over his last four games, which is great production for his price. He is finding his role in the offense, and producing at a higher level because of it. His price hasn’t caught his production yet.

Worth The Cost:

Draymond Green, Warriors ($7,300): It has been Harrison Barnes, not Green, that has taken a big playing time his since David Lee’s return. Green had a couple of bad games when Lee first returned, but over the last ten days, he is back to doing what he does best: filling up stat sheets. He had ten points, nine rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and a steal against the Bulls on Tuesday. That kind of production really helps out in FanDuel’s scoring system. Green has averaged 31.6 fantasy points a game over his last five. He is getting you consistent production for his price.

Gordon Hayward, Jazz ($7,700): Hayward missed practice yesterday with a sinus issue, but he is expected to play tonight. It may make it difficult for him to play at the level that he has been (13 straight games of more than 20 fantasy points), but there are no other great options at the position tonight.

Risky Plays:

P.J. Tucker, Suns ($4,700): He has a lot more upside than starter Gerald Green, and consistently scores in the 20’s or higher for fantasy points. If you need to go really cheap at SF, take Tucker over Green.

My Lineups:

A:Ā Tucker and Ingles ($9,000)

B:Ā Green andĀ Ingles ($11,600)

Next: Still Good Options At PF For Late Night

Power Forwards:

Bargains:

Taj Gibson, Bulls ($5,900): He is dealing with some inflammation in his knee, but it is not expected to affect his availability tonight against the Suns. That is a good thing for FanDuel players because the Suns are weak up front. Gibson is still a sure 20 points per night, which is nothing to sneeze at when you have four viable options.

Marreese Speights, Warriors ($4,800): Speights continues to get 20-25 minutes per game and score 20-25 fantasy points. If you need to go cheap, he could be your man.

Worth The Cost:

Pau Gasol, Bulls ($9,500): Gasol has put up three straight games of 44 or more fantasy points, and he gets another great matchup against the Suns tonight. If you can find the money, Gasol is a fantastic play. It will be hard to do since you have to spend at SG though.

Derrick Favors, Jazz ($7,500): Favors is good for 30 a night almost every time he takes the court. He should be against Golden State tonight as well. If you can’t afford Gasol, Favors is a really good plan B.

Risky Plays:

Markieff Morris, Suns ($6,300): Morris has had five games of under 25 fantasy points in his last ten. He is really tough to trust, no matter the opponent. You just never know when he is going to stink up your fantasy lineup.

Marcus Morris, Suns ($4,000): The lesser known of the Morris twins has carved out a good role for himself. He has nine straight games in double digit fantasy points, and has scored over 20 three times in that span including two of the last three games. He could be a sneaky play if you want elite options elsewhere.

My Lineups:

A: Gasol and Speights ($14,300)

B: Gibson and Markieff ($12,200)

Next: Can You Trust Joakim Noah Again?

Granger ($14,900)

Center:

Bargains:

Alex Len, Suns ($4,900): Not only is Brandan Wright cutting into his minutes, but he has not played all that well anyway. You might be better served to go with Wright ($3,600) than Len if you are backed into a corner at C.

Worth The Cost:

Joakim Noah, Bulls ($6,500): Noah has racked up a whopping 91.9 fantasy points in his last two games, and played over 40 minuts in each. Did his four game hiatus help him regain some of last year’s dominance? It is still too soon to tell, but if he is going to score at this rate at this price, he is worth a shot.

Risky Play:

Enes Kanter, Jazz ($6,100): Kanter has a nice matchup against the Warriors tonight even if Andrew Bogut is in the lineup. However, there are three things that are going to keep me away from him. One is the presence of Rudy Gobert. Gobert is sneaking almost as many minutes as Kanter even if Kanter is playing well. Two is his inconsistency. He has a game in the teens, one in the 20’s, one in the 30’s, and one in the 40’s over the last four games. Another is the fact that Hassan Whiteside is only $100 more.

My Lineups:

A: Noah ($6,500)

B: Wright ($3,600)
