1. Phoenix Suns

Prior to the start of the 2014-15 season, the Indiana Pacers and Phoenix Suns had some preliminary discussions about a potential Roy Hibbert for Goran Dragic swap. The Suns ended up nixing the deal, but the two teams could pick up talks once again as the deadline continues heating up.

It is likely that Phoenix will choose to hang onto Dragic until the offseason, although they would be risking losing him for nothing. He is a free agent, and is expected to thoroughly test the free agent market before choosing where to sign. Hibbert would be an intriguing pickup for the Suns, and would add the defensive presence that they could use.

Alex Len has emerged as a very solid starting center for the Suns, but Hibbert would be an obvious upgrade over him.

There could be a deal centered around Hibbert and sharpshooter Chris Copeland heading to Phoenix, with the Suns sending Dragic and P.J. Tucker back in return. Copeland could be the X-Factor in the deal for the Suns, as his three-point shooting would be extremely dangerous coming off of their bench. Trading Dragic isn’t something that they necessarily want to do, but they are likely open to the idea if they can get the right offer.
