Arkansas’ impressive bowl win over Texas only continues the momentum the Razorbacks have gathered. Coach Bret Bielema’s 2015 recruiting haul will only push it further.

The “Bret Bielema Must Go” crowd that grew during midseason was silenced after Arkansas finished their 2014 season with an impressive rout of Texas in the Texas Bowl, giving them their first winning season since 2011. There’s still work to do in Fayetteville, as the Razorbacks finished just 2-6 in the Southeastern Conference.
Bielema believes in a power running attack and a strong front seven as the foundation to success, and while the Hogs will have the productive duo of Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams at running back, Arkansas has to retool its offensive line along with adding depth at tight end. The defensive line is strong, but the program could also use more depth at linebacker.
Done. Done. And done.
Bielema’s staff criss-crossed the southeast to stockpile the level of talent the Razorbacks need to survive in the ultra competitive SEC West. Along with upgrading their three biggest needs, Arkansas also went after more speed at wide receiver in order to keep the offense from being too one-dimensional. The Hogs held firm in-state, grabbing four of the state’s top players.
Arkansas already has one of the nation’s surprise recruiting classes heading into National Signing Day, but the Razorbacks are also in position to further improve their haul. Don’t be too shocked if Bielema is able to sway at least one five-star player into the fold.
