Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes believes the player would cost $45o million on the transfer market.

Everybody in the world knows that Cristiano Ronaldo is to soccer what Al Pacino is to acting: the best. He is the recent recipient of the Ballon d’Or, making him literally the best footballer in the world right now.

The fact that he has won the award more than once only confirms the claims.

Everyone always debates how much the Portuguese star would cost if someone managed to convince Real Madrid to sell him. No one has an answer, but everyone has a theory. I personally think he will only leave Madrid when he is past his prime, so we will never see a price tag for Ronaldo at his peak.

His agent says his current buyout clause is one billion dollars, so he won’t be sold for anything less than that. However, if someone were to convince Real Madrid to sell, his price would be $450 million.

That’s right…just shy of half a billion dollars for one man with magnificent shooting abilities. (And every other soccer ability you need)

“Cristano Ronaldo? One billion. His buyout clause one billion, so it is one billion,” Mendes said. “If, for any reason, the club decide to sell him tomorrow for 300 million, someone will pay”

Yes, one billion dollars. $1,000,000,000.
