Bruins coach Jim Mora has another solid recruiting class coming in and will enter National Signing Day with a chance to strengthen what is already a top-20 class.

Coming off the program’s second straight 10-win season, UCLA coach Jim Mora has turned the Bruins around from their 2007-2012 doldrums into a consistent Pac-12 title threat. The program has played for the conference championship twice in the last four years, yet have been unable to get over the hump.

Even with the loss of quarterback Brett Hundley, UCLA will be in the title picture next fall. Running back Paul Perkins emerged from third on the depth chart to become the conference’s leading rusher as a sophomore, while linebacker Myles Jack will anchor the Bruins defense in what will likely be the junior’s final year before becoming a possible high first round selection in the 2016 NFL draft.

Mora is one of the nation’s best recruiters, as his style and personality has left many a set of parents convinced following an in-home visit that their son belongs at UCLA. The Bruins fell a bit in 2014, as their recruiting class finished 20th following 10th and 16th place showings the previous two years. This class will learn more toward the top 15, as Mora Magic delivered top-shelf talent at critical need positions at quarterback and offensive line.

As good as UCLA’s class is entering National Signing Day, the Bruins stand a chance to be even better, as they remain in play with a host of premier talent. Mora has a very good chance to bring in at least one five-star player along with a couple of four-star performers that could shoot the Bruins closer to the top 10.

The Bruins will be a team to watch on Wednesday, so follow how Mora closes out right here.
