Wisconsin won their division, bowl game and had a Heisman finalist in Melvin Gordon in 2014, so have they translated that success onto the recruiting trail?
The Wisconsin Badgers were one of the more fun teams to watch in college football in 2014 with Heisman runner-up, Melvin Gordon having one of the greatest seasons a running back has ever had, but then the offseason hit and brought great change.

Gary Anderson abruptly left after two seasons as the head coach where he went 19-7 and won the Big Ten west in his second and last season with Wisconsin. The sudden departure of Anderson could have drastically hurt the Badgers recruiting efforts, but the hiring of former Wisconsin assistant Paul Chryst has solidified the nation’s No. 35 class.
This is right around where Wisconsin has finished the last few years. They were 33, 38, 65, 39 and 45, respectively the last five years, so no great dropoff from Anderson to Chryst, at least on the recruiting trail this year.

Saturday Blitz
Wisconsin has 20 commitments entering National Signing Day, including five who are already enrolled for the spring semester. The headliner of the 2015 class is four-star running back Jordan Stevenson who is their highest-ranked commit at No. 204 overall.
The Badgers hope to add a couple of commitments and improve on the No. 5 class in the Big Ten and build on the momentum of their successful 2014 season.
As the letters of intent are signed and faxed in on signing day this page will be updated to include each of Wisconsin’s commitments, so be sure to follow along with us at FanSided for the celebration that is signing day.
Update: 3:00 p.m.
Wisconsin dropped six spots in the class rankings and have the No. 39 class, the first for head coach Paul Chryst back in Madison.
