Let’s get right into it today folks. We have 22 teams in action tonight, and some of them are riddled with injuries. You do not want to be the person who plays an injured player tonight. So HERE is a link to the NBA Injury Report. Be sure to keep up on it, and especially check it 30 minutes prior to tip-off. You can always, follow HERE, for live: up to the minute injury and lineup updates for FanDuel tonight. Without further delay, Here are my FanDuel NBA Daily Picks and Lineups for February 4:

First up we have your number one spot; the Point Guards:

Russell Westbrook – 11000
KD might be out. You know what that means, Westbrook will take over the game just like he did the other night. I’m not sure 70 points is reachable, but 50 for sure, and he could flirt with 60 as he has so many times in the past. The way he plays when KD is out, he is a must start to me, especially when others may be scared of the price tag.

DJ Augustin – 7000
Simply put: He has been on fire. He had just a few points shy of 4x yesterday AT HALFTIME. I say that we should just keep the gravy-train rolling and pick up again. Especially at this price, and a ceiling of 50+ points.

Honorable Mention:

George Hill – 5100:
He has been putting up solid, 4x numbers, since returning from his injury. According to multiple reports, he should return to the starting lineup tonight against the Pistons. Despite DJs offense performance, he defense has been far worse. Combine that, with a minutes increase to Hill, and 5x is not a reach at all.

Next: Shooting Guards

Monta Ellis – 7900
Ellis didn’t perform as highly as expected last time out. He barely missed the 4x mark. But tonight, with Rajon Rondo still expected to be out, and the fast-paced warriors team on the slate, Ellis should put up near a career high in field goal attempts. He will get his points tonight, and if the other stats are there as well, his score should be near 40.

Kevin Martin – 6300
Amongst the circulating injuries among the guards on the Timberwolves, K-Mart has found some minutes consistency. He is averaging 34 minutes per game over his last 4, and 25 fantasy points. The Heat have struggled defensively against guards since the Dwyane Wade injury, so Martin should be able to cross the 30 point mark and into 5x territory tonight.

Honorable Mention:

Giannis Antetokounmpo 6200:
His last 4 games he is averaging minutes in the mid 30s and fantasy points in the low 30s. 31 fantasy points is 5x. He should have no problem getting that against a struggling Lakers team.

Next: Small Forwards

Andrew Wiggins – 6900
He has been playing solid lately, but what I like about this matchup is the different lineups the Heat have been using. Splitting time with Danny Granger, and a rookie at the 3. Wiggins should be able to use his explosiveness tonight to score well.

Kawhi Leonard – 8100
Leonard is a little more expensive than I’d normally like, considering that Hayward has been producing better numbers, but, Leonard is averaging over 35 fantasy ppg over his last 4 and Orlando’s defense is, as Charles Barkley would say, “trrrbl” against small forwards.

Honorable Mention:

Khris Middleton – 5800:
Another Buck in a similar situation. Averaging mid 30s for minutes, and 30 fantasy points over his last 6. He is another 5x candidate against the Lakers.

Next: Power Forwards

Jan 30, 2015; Phoenix, AZ, USA; Chicago Bulls forward Pau Gasol (16) lets the basketball go out of bounce while being defended by the Phoenix Suns center Alex Len in the first half at US Airways Center. Mandatory Credit: Jennifer Stewart-USA TODAY Sports

John Henson – 5000
He makes the list yet again, but only tentatively. His value as of late has been great. Hopefully enough that Kidd lets him keep his starting role and minutes. If he does, he will continue to produce games over 5x and close to 6x value. However, Ersan Ilyasova and Zaza Pachulia are questionable, and both performed in drills yesterday. Watch the injury report on this one before making any decision.

Pau Gasol – 9500
With Dwight Howard out, the Rockets have gone a little smaller at times. This tremendously benefits this 7 footer who is producing some of the best numbers of his career. Look for the Bulls to drop the ball off to him in the post repeatedly tonight.

Honorable Mention:

Zach Randolph – 8700:
Randolph is a double – double threat who has been on a tear lately. The only reason he’s down here is because the Jazz do well on defense against PFs. This boils down to whether his hot streak can overcome said defense.

Next: Centers

Jan 30, 2015; Brooklyn, NY, USA; Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez (11) tosses a shot in overtime against the Toronto Raptors at Barclays Center. Toronto Raptors won127-122 in overtime. Mandatory Credit: Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

Brook Lopez – 7000
Coming off the bench appears to work for him. 2 of his last 3 games have been 30+ fantasy points, and the other was a 60 fantasy point domination against the Raptors. He has been getting starters minutes even off of the bench. Who does he play tonight? The Raptors again. They are in the bottom half of the league defensively against centers, so look for plenty of targets to head the way of Lopez

Joakim Noah – 7100
Over his last 3 he is averaging 38 fppg. Over a 5x value. Also, see the reason of Pau. Rockets go small, and Noah is big. He should have no problem body-ing these guys up and getting boards and put backs. Look for another solid outing from him tonight.

Honorable Mention:

Jusef Nurkic – 4800
5 of his last 8 games he has performed at 5x value. Tonight, he faces Boston. They do not do well against big men. He probably wont cross the 30 point threshold, but he is a top value play tonight if you need one.
