The 2015 NFL season is over, and with it, Super Bowl XLIX. The New England Patriots are champions of the professional football world. On Wednesday, the city of Boston held a parade to commemorate their beloved franchise’s fourth title overall.
In attendance were players on the Patriots roster, including quarterback Tom Brady, who won his third Super Bowl MVP trophy with his four-touchdown performance on Sunday, and tight end Rob Gronkowski, who could be seen chugging beers. Head coach Bill Belichick was also, of course, on the scene. But the most memorable thing about this parade might actually be from the fans themselves as a few prepared a sign trolling Seattle Seahawks corner back Richard Sherman.
When the Seahawks seemingly burned Patriots corner back Darrelle Revis late in the game for a three yard touchdown pass to push the score to 24-14, the Super Bowl seemed all but over, especially for Richard Sherman. In fact, the corner put up two, then four of his fingers in an apparent show of disrespect for Revis’ pass defending abilities. Thus, the following sign is all the more sweeter for Patriots fans, who saw the Seattle secondary get scorched for two fourth quarter passing touchdowns en route to a 28-24 New England victory.
That, however, is not where the taunting ends. More and more photos are appearing on Twitter. Check out the following picture below. Let us know which insult is more debilitating.
