But, as of Wednesday, the “Gin and Juice” rapper is a Trojans fan no more.
Snoop told ESPN that the’s ditching his USC gear and now a supporter of UCLA after his son, Cordell Broadus, committed to play for Jim Mora’s squad.
It truly is incredible to see Snoop, who has been so vocal about his USC fandom over the years, now wearing a UCLA jersey and tweeting that the school, not USC, is Los Angeles’ team.
While Trojan fans surely aren’t going to be happy with Snoop, it’s hard to blame him at all for choosing family over his childhood allegiances.
Broadus is a four-star All-American out of Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. Broadus caught 39 balls for 602 yards and 11 touchdowns in his senior season. He is a huge pickup for a UCLA team that’s looking to build off a 10-3 season last year.
