ESPN analyst Todd McShay has released his latest 2015 NFL Mock Draft, with Florida State Seminoles star Jameis Winston going No. 1 overall.Ā

NFL Draft season is in full swing, with the ESPN experts — Mel Kiper and Todd McShay — releasing the latest editions of their 2015 NFL Mock Drafts.

More from College Football

In Kiper’s most recent mock draft, it was Florida State Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston who was selected with the No. 1 overall pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On Thursday, Todd McShay released his own version of the mock which looked very similar.

Like Kiper, Todd McShay has the Buccaneers leaning towards selecting Winston.

McShay writes:

Winston goes on to acknowledge there are some concerns about Winston, but they are purely off-the-field issues and are not reflective of any flaws in his game.

During the middle of the college football season, it appeared that NFL draft scouts and experts were beginning to cool on Jameis Winston. However, he has begun to pick up steam and is once again surging towards the top of the draft boards.

Winston’s biggest competition will be Oregon Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariota.

In FanSided’s latest mock draft, we — like many others — have the Buccaneers favoring Jameis Winston over Mariota. As far as Mariota’s stock is concerned, he slides out of the top five and in to the laps of the New York Jets.
