Miami Hurricanes Staff Receives Exciting Fax from Recruit

One of the Miami Hurricanes’ new recruits sent a fax to Al Golden and the Hurricanes staff on Wednesday during National Signing Day that sent a pretty clear and concise message about what he plans on accomplishing in South Beach.

The team’s twitter account tweeted a picture of the fax:

It’s unknown which new recruit was the one who sent the fax, which also includes Latin phrase meaning “victory is in our hands.”

Golden and the Hurricanes staff should be excited, but are also likely baffled that the 18-year-old they recruited to play football A) knows how to use a fax machine; B) has access to said fax machine; and C) knows a complete sentence in Latin. They must be wondering: who is this guy?

For more on Miami’s recruiting haul this year, FanSided has the story.

Miami signed 21 new recruits Wednesday, good for the No. 26 class in college football according to 247 Sports, a class highlighted by Mark Walton, Jaquan Johnson, and Tyree St. Louis, and one that also includes the King of Pop, and now, a Latin-speaking fax-sender.

When it comes to his recruits, Al must be feeling pretty… wait for it… Golden right now.

Sorry.
