The Cleveland Browns’ quarterback wants to see how things play out before returning
Once again, the Cleveland Browns aren’t exactly having the best offseason. They lost offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan and quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains. When it comes to the players, Josh Gordon has been supsended for another year after failing yet another drug test and last year’s first round pick Johnny Manziel entered rehab to help solve his alcohol issues.
To top it off, star tight end Jordan Cameron, according to reports, doesn’t want to return to the mess that is the Cleveland Browns.

Now, the one quarterback they have that they can depend on, Brian Hoyer, wants to see what happens before he decides if he wants to return to the Browns.
Hoyer is an unrestricted free agent and on March 10, can sign anywhere he pleases.
Speaking to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Hoyer admits that things haven’t been so great and he wants to see how things shake out.
Hoyer knows that next decision in his career is the biggest one yet and he like everyone else, wants to see what happens with the Browns.
“It obviously will, I think,” Hoyer said. “I’m going to make the best decision possible. To read the stories and see what’s going on, I’m just as interested as you guys are to see where that comes out, especially because when you read it, it has to deal with the quarterback situation and play calling. That’s something that could affect how I feel about it. For me, I’m looking forward to see what comes out of that.”
There’s still a lot of time between now and March, and it will be interesting to see what decisions that franchise makes before the new league year begins.
Hoyer was yanked in favor for Manziel at the end of the year and it will be interesting to see if he decides to return to Cleveland on another contract. Security will definitely come into play and it will be interesting to see that if the team who has had many quarterbacks over the last decade, can offer that.
