There areĀ seven games in the NBA tonight, making for plenty of choices to build our lineups. Included in this will be our Vince Grothās computer algorithm that tries to compose the optimum lineup. I will have that listed as lineup āCā. That lineup is projected for 290 points under FanDuel scoring.

Here are my FanDuel lineups for February 7:
Point Guards:
Bargains:
Marcus Smart, Celtics ($4,900): There are plenty of lower priced options at PG today, but Smart may be the safest. Smart has averaged 23.3 fantasy points in his last seven games. That is about 4.5x value. He held his own against a solid Philadelphia team yesterday. He could get up to around 30 against Milwaukee tonight.
Brian Roberts, Hornets ($4,900): Roberts has held up well with Kemba Walker out. He is not nearly the playmaker that Walker is, but he is an ample playmaker. He has averaged 24.4 fantasy points while filling in as the starter. He likely wonāt get you over 30 anytime soon, but even at 24, he is at 5x value. His upside is low, but the consistency is high.
Worth The Cost:
John Wall, Wizards ($9,300): Wall has averaged 41.6 fantasy points per game over his last ten games. He has been over 45 fantasy points five times during that span. It is a good possibility that Wall gets over his last ten average against Brooklyn tonight. Wall might be the safest play of the night. Stephen Curry has performed at a higher level, but he is playing the Knicks in what promises to be a blowout. Wall should get an entire set of minutes whereas Curry likely wont.
Damian Lillard, Trailblazers ($8,600): Lillard did not play well against Phoenix on Thursday night. I am willing to let that slide. Especially since Lillard is playing Dallas, who will be with Rajon Rondo until after the All Star Break. Dallas has not had a lot of success defending opposing PGās on Rondoās absence. That bodes well for Lillardās chances of getting in the 40ās again.
Risky Plays:
Langston Galloway, Knicks ($5,200): On the surface, Galloway still looks like a great value play. Iām not so sure that he is anymore. He has a good game against Brooklyn yesterday, but prior to that, Galloway had averaged just 17 fantasy points per game in his last three games. The Knicks are playing Jose Calderon more, likely trying to showcase him for a trade. The team is still committed to playing Galloway, but his production has suffered with Calderon on the court with him.
Jarrett Jack, Nets ($7,600): Jack is playing at a very high level, averaging 36.5 fantasy points per game over his last ten. So why is he a risk? For one, Deron Williams is back, and is cutting into his minutes some. More pressing is the fact that he is playing the Wizards. Washington has done a great job defending the point. I wouldnāt expect Jack near that recent output today. He might have trouble hitting 30.
My Lineups:
A: Lillard and Smart ($13,500)
B: Smart andĀ Ramon SessionsĀ ($8,400): Darren Collison is doubtful, so Sessions is running one of the better offenses in the league. For one night anyway.
C: Roberts and Barea ($9,600)
Next: All Conventional Wisdom Says Play Giannis

Shooting Guards:
Bargains:
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks ($6,400): Giannis is averagingĀ 30.1 fantasy points per game over his last ten games. He has been over 35 in each of the lastĀ threeĀ games, including a 50 point outburst against the Rockets last night. He is playing at the level that he has shown he can right now. HeĀ has another great matchup in the CelticsĀ coming up tonight. He has a great chance to extend his streak of 35+ fantasy point games. You have to play him tonight!
Avery Bradley, Celtics ($5,100): Bradley has done very well as the starting SG in Boston, but he has also had consistency issues. I am willing to go with him tonight because he played well against Philadelphia last night. He has a solid matchup against the Bucks, and should stay in his normal 25 fantasy point range, which is a 5x value.
Worth The Cost:
Tyreke Evans, Pelicans ($8,500): Evans went nuts on Oklahoma City last night, recording a triple-double on the last play of the game by assisting Anthony Davisās game winner. Evans has done a great job of running the team with Jrue HolidayĀ out. He has averaged 37.1 fantasy points per game over his last ten, and has a great chance to hit that mark against the Bulls tonight. If he can, that is a solid 4.5x value.
Klay Thompson, Warriors ($8,000): He is too reliant upon scoring to be a constant asset in daily leagues, especially when his price gets up in this area. That said, he has a fantastic matchup against the Knicks tonight. While he likely wonāt play more than 28-30 minutes, he could have a huge game against the Knicks. Their defense is a shooterās paradise.
Risky Plays:
Monta Ellis, Mavericks ($7,700): Ellis has been under 30 fantasy points as many times as he has been over in the last 12 games. The problem with that is that he needs 30 to be a 4x value. His matchup against Portland is not a great one, but it is decent. I was thinking Ellis would take on more of a load, especially passing the ball, with Rondo out. In reality, his value has slipped without Rondo in the lineup.
Eric Gordon, Pelicans ($6,300): Gordon struggled last night against the Thunder. In fact, he only scored 15 points in the two games against Oklahoma City. He is reliant upon scoring for his value. This is why he should be avoided tonight against the Bulls. Jimmy Butler is establishing himself as one of the better defending guards in the Eastern Conference. There are better options available.
My Lineups:
A: Antetokounmpo andĀ Thompson ($14,400)
B:Ā Antetokounmpo and BradleyĀ ($11,500)
C: Antetokounmpo and Ellis ($14,100)
Next: Will Carmelo Anthony Play Tonight?
Jan 8, 2015; Toronto, Ontario, CAN;Charlotte Hornets guard Gerald Henderson (9) prepares a free throw against Toronto Raptors in the first quarter at Air Canada Centre. Mandatory Credit: Peter Llewellyn-USA TODAY Sports
Small Forwards:
Bargains:
Gerald Henderson, Hornets ($5,300): Henderson went off on the Wizards in back-to-back games earlier this week. He has picked up a lot of slack with Kemba Walker out. That should continue against the 76ers tonight. It sounds like Michael Carter-Williams will sit again, so there should be plenty of shots open for Henderson.
Robert Covington, 76ers ($6,300): Itās no secret that the Wizards have trouble guarding twos and threes. That bodes well for Covington. He struggled a little bit against Boston last night, but redemption is on the horizon for Covington tonight.
Worth The Cost:
Gordon Hayward, Jazz ($8,100): Hayward still keeps putting up games in the 20ās. He has not been under that mark in 2015. But if his price is this high, you need him at least in the 30ās. That makes him a play only for good matchups. Tonight he gets the Kings, which should be a good matchup for him. If you look at the games where he has not hit 30 in the last ten (Memphis, Clippers, Spurs, and Cavs), all of those teams defend well. The teams that he lit up (Lakers, Celtics, Bucks, and Trailblazers without Nicolas Batum), they donāt defend well. The Kings are right in the middle, so Hayward should be right around the 30 mark tonight.
Khris Middleton, Bucks ($6,400): Middleton was shut down by Trevor Ariza last night. There is no shame in that. He has done that to several people. Tonight Middleton gets to take on the Celtics. They have played better lately, but I still donāt trust the defense. Middleton wonāt be back in the 40ās again, but he should be around 30, which gets him close to 5x value.
Risky Plays:
Chandler Parsons, Mavericks ($6,100): Parsons is a good play when he has a good matchup. As he showed last night against the Kings though, if he matchup is not great, he isnāt either. Expect Parsons to have similar issues against Nicolas Batum and the Trailblazers tonight. There is no way I would trust him right now.
Luc Richard Mbah A Moute, 76ers ($4,700): Luc has averaged 23.2 fantasy points per game while receiving starters minutes over his last seven games. That is a 5x value. I donāt trust him against the Wizards though, especially if he is playing at PF. Still, he is a low risk option. He only needs 18.8 fantasy points to get you 4x value.
My Lineups:
A: Henderson and Draymond Green ($12,300): Green was a monster last night, grabbing a career high 20 rebounds. He has the chance to do similar damage to the undersized Knicks tonight.
B:Ā Covington and HendersonĀ ($11,600)
C: Hayward and Carmelo Anthony ($17,500): Keep in mind that Anthony is doubtful in the second game of a back-to-back.
Next: Do You Need To Spend Big At PF?

Power Forwards:
Bargains:
John Henson, Bucks ($5,100): Henson has been a beast up front for the Bucks while Zaza Pachulia has been out. Pachulia looks unlikely to play again tonight, which would mean another start for Henson. He has averaged 27.4 fantasy points per game while filling in for Pachulia. That is more than 5x value!
Jared Sullinger, Celtics ($6,600): Sullinger has been unstoppable for much of the past three games. He has a fantastic matchup against the Bucks tonight, which means his streak of good games should continue. He has average 37 fantasy points per game over his last three games, despite not starting one of those games. The Celtics are realizing that they have to play Sullinger. That should only increase his value going forward.
Worth The Cost:
Anthony Davis, Pelicans ($11,400): The Bulls are solid up front, but Davis just abused Serge Ibaka last night. Two days after Ibaka held him in check. Davis may not be a 50 point player tonight, but he could get close. Even his bad games have been in the high 30ās lately. That makes him a lower risk than he was earlier in the year.
LaMarcus Aldridge, Trailblazers ($9,700): Aldridge has three straight games under 40 fantasy points, which is very out of character for him. He has a great matchup against Dallas tonight. He should get back to his over 40 ways tonight. Dirk Nowitzki is not the defender that he once was. Aldridge could have a big game tonight.
Risky Plays:
Cody Zeller, Hornets ($5,200): Zeller was on quite a roll until scoring just 18.1 fantasy points in two games against the Wizards during the week. He has a much better matchup against the 76ers tonight, but they have been playing rather well lately. He recent struggles and the improving Sixers defense make me wary of going with Zeller.
Nerlens Noel, 76ers ($6,000): Noel has been wildly inconsistent for much of the season. In fact, in the span of the last five games, Noel has been between 16.4 and 44.7 fantasy points. That is too big of a risk to take for this price. Add the fact that he is playing Charlotte, and he is better left alone.
My Lineups:
A: Sullinger and Henson ($11,700)
B: Davis and Aldridge ($21,100)
C: Sullinger and Nene Hilario ($11,800)
Next: Is It Worth It To Spend On Cousins?
Feb 3, 2015; Sacramento, CA, USA; Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins (15) speaks to a Golden State Warriors fan in the stands during the second quarter at Sleep Train Arena. Mandatory Credit: Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports
Center:
Bargains:
Tyson Chandler, Mavericks ($7,100): Chandler has been over 30 fantasy points in his last three games, and over 25 in his last six. His average is 37.7 fantasy points. Chandler has a nice matchup against the Trailblazers. Robin Lopez is back, but he is still getting back to full health. Chris Kaman is out tonight, so there is a good chance that Chandler has his way with the Blazers up front tonight.
Brook Lopez, Nets ($6,700): Lopez has done a great job over his last five games. He has averaged 37.5 fantasy points over his last five games, and that includes the clunker against Toronto. I would be a little wary of Lopez tonight because he is playing the stout Wizards front line.
Worth The Cost:
DeMarcus Cousins, Kings ($11,000): Cousins has been above 40 fantasy points in all but one game since his return eight games ago. If you take out that clunker against Toronto, he has averaged 49.1 fantasy points in those games. The Jazz are tough up front, but you canāt go against Cousins right now. He is likely the best high dollar option of the night.
Al Jefferson, Hornets ($8,000): The offense runs through Jefferson with Kemba Walker out. He has averaged 35.2 fantasy points per game with Walker out. That is a 4.5x value. He could be a great play against the undersized 76ers up front tonight.
Risky Plays:
Rudy Gobert, Jazz ($6,100): Gobert has been outplaying Kanter on the offensive and defensive ends lately. He has averaged 31.3 fantasy points over his last three games. The only thing that makes me nervous is that Gobert is playing the Kings and DeMarcus Cousins. If you canāt afford to spend more, Gobert is a decent play. Just donāt expect him in the 30ās again.
My Lineups:
A: Jefferson ($8,000)
B: Chandler ($7,100)
C: Lopez ($6,700)
