Andrew Wiggins finishes sick alley-oop in NBA Rising Stars Game (Video)
By Robby Sabo
Minnesota Timberwolves youngster Andrew Wiggins is already putting on a show tonight in New York City.
While Andrew Wiggins is completing alley-oops, LeBron James must be saying holy-oops.
The man who was traded for Kevin Love this past off-season is already putting on a show in New York City tonight in the NBA’s Rising Stars Game.
Check out this finish from the Minnesota Timberwolves young phenom:
Atlanta Hawks guard Dennis Schroder placed a nice ball high up there for the 6-8 No. 1 pick out of Kansas to go up and get.
He did just that in almost Superman-like fashion.
Somewhere, LeBron is kicking himself.
Once LeBron told Sports Illustrated that he’d be “coming home” to Cleveland for the Decision 2.0, many folks had this crazy idea in their head that his setup with the Cavaliers was perfect. He already had a superstar point guard in tow with Kyrie Irving and had the number-one overall pick in their arsenal.

Surely Wiggins would be the choice.
I mean think about it. Wiggins is a young buck at 19. Sure there would be some growing pains along the way, but who cares considering how new the team was anyway. A “get it together” time was needed regardless.
Wiggins would have served the perfect superstar role for the Cavs in 3-5 years once LeBron starting piling up too much mileage. He’d then be able to play a perfect off-wing to the newly minted stud in Wiggins. Instead James opted for Love and while they’ve had great success since LeBron’s return from injury, Love just doesn’t seem to fit. His lack of defensive intensity doesn’t fit the James mold (especially considering his Los Angeles connections and contract situation).
Hopefully for LeBron, Wiggins will cool it with his high-flying antics the rest of the night.
